MAIN FUNCTION: The Fitness Floor Attendant (FFA) is an essential part of the Fitness and Wellness team. Key responsibilities of this role is to support member retention by engaging with members, ensuring safe and proper use of equipment, and managing the day-to-day operations of the fitness floor. The FFA also supports medically-integrated group classes and helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members. Climbing Wall Staff are responsible for building positive, friendly relationships with all YMCA members and guests who use the climbing wall at the YMCA. Climbing Wall Staff will primarily belay individuals using the wall, instruct climbing techniques and manage proper use and upkeep of safety equipment.
