Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced AV Lead Technician to lead on -site installation teams and subcontractors on commercial AV projects. This role is hands -on and leadership -focused, ensuring installations are completed according to design specifications, industry standards, project schedules, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support on -site AV installation teams and subcontractors
Coordinate staffing needs and ensure crews have the proper tools and resources
Work closely with the AV Project Manager to request materials, track deliveries, and manage on -site logistics
Record equipment serial numbers and manage on -site material inventory
Track labor hours and material usage throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain daily job journals, inventory logs, and field documentation to keep projects on schedule
Perform daily on -site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance
Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel
Identify and communicate scope changes, equipment issues, or material failures to the AV Project Manager and design team
Assist with field documentation, including as -built drawings, cable certification reports, and warranties
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors
Stay current with emerging AV technologies and best practices
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of experience in commercial audio -visual installation
Strong working knowledge of commercial AV systems and infrastructure
Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, blueprints, and line drawings
Experience creating and configuring DSP files (QSC, Biamp preferred)
Experience loading, testing, and troubleshooting control systems and touch panels (Crestron, Extron)
OSHA 10 -hour or 30 -hour certification preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to lead teams and drive results in the field
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands
Comfortable training and mentoring technicians
Strong customer -facing and teamwork skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
Ability to perform close -vision work
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including active construction and customer sites

The National Medal of the Arts and Two Time Tony Award Winning Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is the country's preeminent organization dedicated to the development of new works and new voices for the stage.
From its 11-acre campus in Waterford, Connecticut, the O'Neill has been home to more than 1,000 new works for the stage and thousands more emerging artists. Audio Assistant/Engineer (A1)
Reports to: Audio Supervisor
Department: Production
Compensation: $5500 stipend, housing and meals
Dates: Mid-May to Mid-August
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Assist with audio load-in and load-out of the O'Neill's two indoor and two outdoor performance spaces
Maintain equipment in performance spaces and in the on-site Pub
Help ensure the safety and functionality of the sound systems for the two outdoor and two indoor performance spaces
Prepare soundboards and equipment for shows as well as maintain the quality of sound throughout a performance
Check sound levels and make sure the equipment is functioning correctly, set up equipment for rehearsals and performances, run sound checks
Act as sound engineer for rehearsals and performances and other events as assigned
Work directly with designers and collaborate with artistic staff from each of the O'Neill's four summer conferences to best support the performances from a sound standpoint
Support other departments as directed
Ideal Candidates:
The ideal candidate is an early-career professional with knowledge of sound equipment capabilities and an interest in audio production who is able to react quickly and creatively solve issues that arise. Candidates must be organized, flexible, and responsible, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen attention to detail. They must be proficient in audio mixing, digital audio networking, and QLab software. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs., be comfortable with heights, and be able to work overhead for a sustained amount of time. An interest in new work development is a plus.

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced AV Field Project Manager to oversee on -site audio -visual installations, manage field teams, and ensure project execution meets safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements. This role requires both hands -on technical expertise and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise technicians and perform hands -on tasks in shop fabrication and on job sites.
Lead and train field technicians on safety standards, AV installation best practices, and internal processes.
Coordinate staffing and resources with the AV Project Manager to support installation plans.
Verify technicians have required tools, equipment, materials, and PPE prior to work.
Conduct site surveys, confirm trade work completion, and assess job site readiness.
Facilitate installation kick -offs and lead crews according to project plans.
Perform quality inspections throughout the installation process and at completion.
Provide technical guidance to field staff and subcontractors as needed.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

Experience with control systems (e.g., QSC, Logitech, Extron) and touch panel programming a plus.
