    Job Roles & Responsibilities: He/She should be PRIMARILY proficient in configuring/programming the AV HARDWARE from the following manufacturers: Extron Polycom Crestron Cisco Must be local Job Roles & Responsibilities: · Ability to operate VTC and AV equipment · Initiate point to point VTC calls, either in room or remotely · Ensuring that expectations of customers utilizing all on site conferencing facilities are successful · Responsibilities include all aspects of in-room operation and presentation assistance · Coordination of furniture configuration per client needs · Ensuring that audio visual equipment is correctly delivered and set up of room is in good working condition · Perform room checks to ensure that conferencing facilities are properly maintained · Handling minor equipment repairs, coordination of major repair work as appropriate · Train customers with basic AV equipment and controls · Assist Tier 2 technical support in opening/closing trouble tickets · Provide analysis and feedback to enhance day to day operations · High level customer interaction and conflict resolutions · Maintaining equipment storage areas and lists of onsite supplies and equipment · Ensuring high quality customer service at all levels · Answer technical and logistic questions pertaining to video conferencing and collaboration services provided to client · Ability to troubleshoot problems with VTC, AV, and Distance Learning equipment · Excellent interpersonal skills to interface constantly with customer · Maintain accurate records of all VC and AV request · Maintain accurate records of conference room inventory · Responsible for assigned room schedules · All other duties as assigned Skills & Abilities: · Experience with Polycom and VTC equipment configuration, operation and fault isolation · Experience with control systems such as Crestron operations · Previous on-site customer interfacing experience · AV equipment operation and some troubleshooting experience · Ability to, test, diagnose, and modify audiovisual control systems (Crestron, etc.). · Knowledge of projectors, plasma's and AV peripheral equipment. · Working knowledge of IT network and infrastructure technologies. · Excellent verbal & written communication skills. · Working knowledge of general business software including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Lotus Notes Education & Qualifications: · A BA in a technical subject or equivalent and related work experience. · 1 to 3 years as a Technician in the Audio Visual or affiliated industry · Manufacturer's certification including Extron, Polycom, Tandberg, Crestron, Clear One, etc. highly desirable. · Willingness to pursue additional training related to performance of job. Additional Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
