The Facility Maintenance Engineer is responsible for dealership building and equipment maintenance and inspections. They will also work with vendors to complete projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
Manage all outside services used to maintain functionality of dealership, including but not limited, to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, roofing, landscaping, and fire protection services.
Manage the repair and maintenance of shop equipment including but not limited to lifts, compressors, parts washer, car wash system and oil distribution systems.

Work hand in hand with Corporate Construction Managers and contractors in regard to building/expansion projects, including but not limited to, working with service providers to stop/start or suspend services, request permits, and notarize documents.
Assist the Regional Facility Manager with projects as needed.

The
Apprentice Service Technician
is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance on several brand vehicles as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform work as outlined on repair order with accuracy.
· Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
· Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
· Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is recommended.
· Notify service advisor if additional work outlined is needed or recommended.
· Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
· Document work performed.
· Road-test vehicles when required.
· Utilize the knowledge of your Mentor, Team Leader or Shop Foreman when necessary.

· Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures, report any accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Qualifications

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
* Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
* Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
* Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer.
