Responsibilities Strong knowledge of wines preferred Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes. Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used. Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros. Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow sidework sheet. Monitor inventory. Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws. Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Two years bartending experience. Extensive wine knowledge. One-year restaurant experience. Pleasant personality. Excellent communication skills. Your Qualifications Includes: Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required, with bartending experience highly preferred. Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation techniques, appropriate glassware, and bar equipment, including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service (TIPS certification or ability to obtain is required). Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences. Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking.
