Position Summary:

Schedule/Hours:

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

What We're Looking For:

What You'll Do:
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks according to recipes and guest preferences.

Greet and engage guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude, and providing personalized service.

Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest identification.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service practices.
Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
Assist with restocking supplies and supporting barback duties during busy periods.
Foster a positive team environment while delivering exceptional service.

Your Qualifications Includes:
Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required, with bartending experience highly preferred.
Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation techniques, appropriate glassware, and bar equipment, including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service (TABC certification or ability to obtain is required).
Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking.
Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prepare standard mixed drinks and pour wine and beer. Prepare mixed drinks to match customer's specific orders. Provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guests.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintains a Guest focus while performing duties.
Check identification of customers. Must ensure customers meet age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
Assumes 100% responsibility for quality guests' experience.
Take orders from guests and beverage orders from servers.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant's standard drink recipes.
Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change (if applicable).
Wash and sterilize glassware.
Prepare garnishes for drinks.
Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
Clear and reset tables in bar area.
Present menus, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to bar supervisor.
Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid TABC Certification to serve alcohol.
Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.
Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Must have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
Must be willing to follow directions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
