Beverage Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of the bar's drink menu, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and recommended pairings. Job Summary: As a Bartender, you will play a vital role in supporting the Bar Manager in providing exceptional service to our guests. The Assistant Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, interacting with customers, taking orders, and ensuring the accuracy of transactions through the POS system. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes. Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences. Enter each order accurately into the POS system. Uphold the company's core values and ensure optimum guest experience. Accountable for maintaining quality, consistency, and sanitation standards as per company and state regulations. Practice an ownership mentality with emphasis on motivation and teamwork. Keep the bar area clean and tidy, including washing glasses and cleaning the bar top and surrounding areas. Restock supplies during slow operational hours, including alcohol, ice, fruit, beer kegs, and beer cooler. Accurately portion all orders to ensure low cost. Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring all orders are accounted for in the POS system. Work with the management team to achieve year-over-year growth, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
