Job Description The Server Assistant is the right hand of a server, providing a welcoming experience for guests by ensuring our restaurants and bars are kept clean throughout the day and set up properly. Maintain complete knowledge of table, seat, station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation and proper table set ups. Greet guests in a timely manner with a gracious welcome, seating them according to the days seating plan. Set up and empty trash receptacles following department specifications. Prepare beverage stations as assigned. Retrieve clean linen from Laundry and stock in the Restaurant. Serve water, coffee, tea, and other designated non-alcoholic beverages to guests. Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware and glassware. Have full knowledge of the entire menu, as well as daily specials, desserts, etc. Assist with serving food or beverages to patrons. Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and clean in designated area. Ensure compliance with all health & sanitation regulations. Ensure compliance with departmental S.O.P.s. Ensure that all side work is completed before leaving property. Other duties as required. This hotel functions 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
