The Executive Director, Solta Global Medical reports to the Senior Vice President, Head of Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and is the strategic and scientific leader responsible for defining and guiding the global medical and clinical development strategy for Solta's aesthetic device portfolio. * Serve as the medical governance authority ensuring adherence to GCP, ICH, and internal SOPs.
* Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to ensure ethical medical activities.
* Provide strategic oversight for safety signal detection and benefit-risk assessments.
Qualifications:
* MD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in Medicine, Biomedical Science, or related field preferred.
* Board certification or experience in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or related field strongly preferred.
* Minimum 15 years of experience in the aesthetics medical device industry, or biotechnology required
* Proven track record in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, or energy-based device development.
* At least 8 years of leadership experience managing cross-functional and global medical/clinical teams.
* Demonstrated experience with clinical trials for devices, including regulatory submissions, claims generation, and post-market evidence.
* Experience with concepts in one or more of the following areas is preferred: radio-frequency-tissue interaction, laser-tissue interaction, thermally induced tissue damage, laser tissue ablation, ultrasound-assisted liposuction
* Strong experience interacting with regulatory authorities and KOLs globally.

Supporting a best-in-class portfolio of products, you will be responsible for the design and development of sales enablement outcome-based training for the Advanced Wound Care US Business Unit. Utilizing best in class learning practices and modalities, including digital e-learning learning technology, you will design and develop training for the sales organization which includes onboarding new sales managers, the Convatec Selling model, advanced account selling skills, support new product launches and hands on learning reinforcement activities related to our sales process. You will transform and enable our sales teams by building capabilities and skills through business insight, commercial acumen, tools and training. You will build sales capability training (CRM, business analytics, Showpad and sales insights) to proactively anticipate the sales organization needs. PURPOSE
As part of the field-based Product & Portfolio Squad, your primary responsibility is to engage and develop Thought Leaders (TLs), generate insights relevant to strategic decision-making, execute regional meetings, and deliver programs to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) for Bayer's Cardiovascular Renal Portfolio. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be responsible for activities across five key areas, in each case, acting as a champion to deliver brand communication strategy.

Develop a regional advocate TL base which aligns to CVR product communication strategy. Academic centers, key accounts, and TLs within the region are of particular importance, as well as supporting relationships across other regions;
* Identify and recommend TLs to provide brand insight. Collaborate with the local team to identify emerging TLs and make proposals to add or subtract to maintain focus on the critical top TLs significantly driving peer influence, institutional decision-making, and/or scientific advances;
* Develop and maintain deep clinical expertise to challenge and advance TL thinking, leveraging consistent expertise in the data, brand strategy, & messaging;
* In collaboration with the Area General Manager (AGM), contribute to & inform sentiment tracking along the TL Journey to inform plans to motivate TLs to become vocal champions. Collaborate with TL Strategy/Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Content Lead to deliver strategies to develop TLs;

* Attend scientific/educational sessions to advance clinical expertise, sharing key insights learned from conferences and TL engagements with sales and brand teams to maximize utility & action plans;
* Maintain deep understanding of a region, including opinion leaders and other influencers, treatment and utilization trends, payer and reimbursement dynamics, and opportunities and challenges for the brand and marketing tactics within the region.
Speaker Bureau Engagement:
* Lead marketing-initiated peer-to-peer (P2P) program execution including national broadcast;
* Supports the execution of the promotional speaker bureau by aiding the development of Opinion Leader faculty to create innovative speaker content, support the training of new speakers, and increase the effectiveness and compliance of promotional programming. Liaison for insight collection from pertinent national, regional, and local level conferences and symposium;
* Harvest insights during program execution, feeding ideas and recommendations to P2P content that lead to strengthen and evolve speaker programs, including customizations of P2P content by stakeholder.
Implement Local Marketing Initiatives and Programs:
* Own or contribute to various local and national marketing projects that drive brand strategy. Contribute to and actively participate in platform teams focused on improving processes, including speaker bureau, contracting, congress planning, etc;
* Tailor brand materials to local needs and assess how to further tailor digital solutions on an area level.
Insight Generation and Field Partnership:
* Coordinate, share, and consolidate customer insight & intelligence, including program participation with sales consultants, AGMs, regional/national account directors and other internal partners, enabling all to deliver on the brand strategy;
* Execute against regional marketing plan that aligns with strategic imperatives of national brand plan and help drive brand growth at local levels;

* Lead assigned advisory boards in collaboration with Brand Lead, CRM peers, and agency partners. The Executive Director, Solta Global Medical reports to the Senior Vice President, Head of Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and is the strategic and scientific leader responsible for defining and guiding the global medical and clinical development strategy for Solta's aesthetic device portfolio. This role ensures scientific excellence, compliant communication, and cross-functional alignment across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biomedical, Regulatory, and Commercial teams globally.
Responsibilities:
* Define and lead the global medical strategy for Solta's aesthetics device portfolio.
* Serve as the Global Medical Lead providing scientific direction across product lifecycle stages.
* Represent Medical Affairs in executive committees, due diligence evaluations, and governance boards.
* Set strategic direction for clinical development priorities and evidence generation in support to the Clinical Development Lead who retains full responsibility for clinical trial execution, CRO management, investigator engagement, and operational delivery.
* Support the Clinical Development Lead to ensure trial designs align with regulatory and commercial goals. Review and endorse clinical development plans and pivotal study strategies.
* Ensure that clinical development activities support differentiated claims and global regulatory standards.
* Lead the global Medical Affairs function and provide guidance to the medical affairs team, including scientific communications, KOL engagement, and medical information.
* Lead the development and implementation of the Global Medical Plan aligned with lifecycle strategy.
* Oversee claims substantiation and ensure scientific accuracy in promotional materials.
* Guide integrated evidence planning (IEP) across clinical, RWE, and HEOR domains.
* Lead publication strategy and global congress participation.
* Champion transparency and scientific rigor in medical communications.
* Serve as the medical governance authority ensuring adherence to GCP, ICH, and internal SOPs.
* Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to ensure ethical medical activities.
* Provide strategic oversight for safety signal detection and benefit-risk assessments.
Qualifications:
* MD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in Medicine, Biomedical Science, or related field preferred.
* Board certification or experience in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or related field strongly preferred.
* Minimum 15 years of experience in the aesthetics medical device industry, or biotechnology required
* Proven track record in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, or energy-based device development.
* At least 8 years of leadership experience managing cross-functional and global medical/clinical teams.
* Demonstrated experience with clinical trials for devices, including regulatory submissions, claims generation, and post-market evidence.
* Experience with concepts in one or more of the following areas is preferred: radio-frequency-tissue interaction, laser-tissue interaction, thermally induced tissue damage, laser tissue ablation, ultrasound-assisted liposuction
* Strong experience interacting with regulatory authorities and KOLs globally.
* Deep understanding of aesthetic device clinical development, claims substantiation, and market access evidence.
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Strong scientific writing and data interpretation capabilities.
* Business acumen and strategic agility to align scientific goals with commercial objectives.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global organization.
The range of starting base pay for this role is 260K - 358K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
