Key Responsibilities Create, manage, and maintain daily and weekly schedules for 50+ caregivers using WellSky Assign caregivers to client cases based on availability, skills, certifications, and care needs Respond promptly to caregiver call-offs, emergencies, and last-minute schedule changes Communicate schedule updates clearly and professionally with caregivers via phone, text, and system notifications Ensure appropriate staffing coverage to meet client care requirements Monitor caregiver availability, time-off requests, and scheduling conflicts Prepare and distribute weekly scheduling reports for leadership review Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records and documentation in WellSky Collaborate with office staff and leadership to anticipate staffing needs Assist with caregiver on-boarding by supporting initial schedule placement Participate in a rotating on-call schedule by carrying the shared office on-call cellphone as assigned Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous scheduling or administrative experience preferred Experience in home healthcare or home care scheduling preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Comfortable using scheduling software; WellSky experience preferred Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Preferred Skills & Attributes Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused during high-pressure situations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and staffing needs Work Environment & Schedule In-office position Full-time role in a fast-paced home healthcare setting Participation in a rotating on-call schedule required; on-call cellphone is shared among office staff Occasional overtime, early mornings, or weekends may be required based on coverage needs
