Overview - About the ABA Position:
Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician or ABA Therapist role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and primarily take place during after school hours in the client's home, Community, and/or at our Center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location
Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support and assist individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living.
Participates in the delivery of comprehensive behavior analytic services and supports to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities: implements behavior interventions, assists in data collection, provides data reporting on target behaviors.
Meets regularly with RBT supervisor to review behavior plans, data collection and analysis.
Create opportunities and provide support to individuals to make decisions in order to develop their skills and foster independence.
Provide services to individuals according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
Provide support and assist individuals with all medical, clinical and financial needs.
Transport and accompany individuals as needed to and from medical, recreational and other activities outside the program.
Maintain required documentation according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.

Summary
HHMI is seeking a Contracts Counsel for its Office of the General Counsel (OGC) to help support HHMI's programs and operations by providing informed, practical, creative, and timely legal counsel in the review and negotiation of research‑related agreements. As a member of the dynamic team in HHMI's OGC, you will be directly involved in HHMI's mission of advancing biomedical research for the benefit of humanity.
The person in this role will review and negotiate contracts relating to the conduct of research in HHMI laboratories. These contracts include agreements covering the transfer of reagents and other materials into and from HHMI laboratories (inbound and outgoing Materials Transfer Agreements or MTAs and MTOs). In addition, the Contracts Counsel ensures that inter‑institutional agreements (IIAs) and licenses entered into by third‑party research institutions that relate to technology developed in HHMI laboratories are consistent with HHMI's policies and interests. The Contracts Counsel will work closely with other OGC staff, HHMI scientific management, HHMI laboratory heads and staff, and research institution staff to efficiently resolve issues relating to MTAs, MTOs, IIAs, and licenses.
This position reports to the Deputy General Counsel and works under the general supervision of the Deputy General Counsel and one Senior Contracts Counsel. We will consider either remote or hybrid working arrangements, given the candidate's preference.

Work collaboratively in the MTLR group to resolve legal and practical issues arising in MTA negotiation and processing.
Perform MTO Review: review and edit MTOs and advise assigned institutions as needed on questions relating to MTOs, such as MTO terms acceptable to HHMI.
Perform IIA and License Review: provide timely comments to assigned research institutions on IIAs, options, and licenses, consistent with HHMI policies.
Consult and coordinate with others in OGC and at HHMI, including Senior Director‑Scientific Officers and Senior Director‑Scientific Program Officers, as appropriate, on MTA, MTO, and license issues.
Update and maintain electronic databases associated with MTAs, MTOs, and licenses in a timely manner.
Assist the MTLR group and other OGC staff in suggesting, evaluating, documenting, and implementing improvements to HHMI procedures and practices for handling MTAs, MTOs, and licenses.
Maintain a current knowledge of legal issues and current practices in the scientific community relevant to MTAs, MTOs, and licenses, including through participation in continuing legal education and membership in appropriate bar and professional associations. What you bring
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
Active membership in good standing with an established bar required.

'Extended family' is defined by the participant and may include significant support systems such as those individuals the family has identified as their kinship network. Through attuned interactions, Healthy Families Massachusetts home visitors encourage participants at their own pace to develop the knowledge, skills, and support networks that will enable them to be strong, resilient parents with access to the resources needed to successfully manage their lives and be the best advocates for themselves and their children.
The Healthy Families Program's goals are to:
Prevent child abuse and neglect by supporting positive, effective parenting skills
Achieve optimal health, growth, and development in infancy and early childhood
Promote increased educational attainment, job, and life skills
Reduce unintended repeat teen pregnancies
Promote optimal parental health and wellness
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Healthy Families Massachusetts Home Visitor:
Provides parenting education and support in-home and in group settings
Helps to Reduce violent, impulsive, and risky behaviors among adolescent parents
Promotes safe and healthy homes
Improves family self-sufficiency while helping the most vulnerable families
Utilizes the Protective Factors Framework to provide in home services in order to support families in increasing resiliencies, resources, knowledge, skills, and support systems
Organizes and manages a caseload of families and children referred to Healthy Families Massachusetts
Collaborates with parents, children, community resources, and HFM staff in developing plans, specifying resources and services needed, making referrals, and monitoring service provision
Maintains regular contact with collaborating partners
Provides conflict resolution and mediation for families
Monitors safety of children in the home
Maintains complete, detailed, and accurate records
Helps support or present information alone or with other team members at parenting workshops
Duties and responsibilities are carried out in conformance with relevant Competences (attached).
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Highschool Diploma
Minimum of one year of experience providing case management and/or counseling services to children, adolescents, and families; preference given to those with experience working with pregnant or parenting teens or young adults
Lived parenting experience preferred
Bilingual required; we are seeking candidates that speak English and at least one of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole.
An ability to establish trusting relationships with program participants
Experience and humility to work with the culturally diverse families in our catchment area and demonstrated acceptance of individual differences.
Knowledge of infant and child development
Willing to engage in building reflective capacity
Infant mental health endorsement preferred

Valid drivers license and car
CORI/SORI/Finger printing required
