Job Summary
The Engagement Specialist provides focused support to individuals who may be hesitant to enroll in crisis services and are on CBI premises. The Engagement Specialist provides a focused customer service approach by sharing their experience, strength, and hope to individuals, families who may be dropping individual off, and significant others presenting for care so as to minimize the emotional impact of Crisis, Inpatient and/or Residential admissions, to minimize the likelihood of continued Alcohol or Other Drug (AOD) use. The Engagement Specialist provides support to unit staff and is able to complete intake documents when needed. The Engagement Specialist works in conjunction as part of a multi-disciplinary team made up of an Operation Supervisor, Nurse Supervisor, Registered Nurse (RN), Patient Care Technician (PCT), Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC), Peer Support Specialists (PSS) and Behavioral Health Medical Provider (BHMP).
Skills/Requirements:
Highschool diploma or GED required. Associate Degree or higher preferred.
Health Care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred but not required.

Administers the sports program that he has been appointed to and is directly answerable to the principal and operationally to the Athletic

Acquires and submits completed program schedule (all contests, all levels) to the Athletic Director no later than 75 days prior to the first contest of the upcoming It must also be reviewed and approved by Athletic Director
Acquires and submits all off-season contest schedules, including summer Must be turned in 30 days before first contest. It must also be reviewed and approved by Athletic Director
Submits practice schedule for all levels and all facilities needed to Athletic Department 30 days in advance all year It must also be reviewed and approved by Athletic Director.
Sees that lower-level Head Coaches, assistant coaches and student-athletes adhere to AIA "Code of Ethics".
Recruits, in consultation with Principal and Athletic Director, a full and complete, as well as competent and professional
Ensures that ALL potential staff members, including him or herself, go through the entire hiring process as outlined above
