1972

1972 Cape Cod YMCA purchased Camp Clark and renamed it Camp Lyndon in memory of Lyndon Lorusso.

1989

1989 West Barnstable facility opened.

1995

Cape Cod Children’s Place opened its doors in 1995, after an extensive community process that identified the needs of local children and families.

2001

2001 YMCAs celebrate 150 Years of Service in the United States.

2009

2009 YMCA Cape Cod completes major renovation project and opens new facilities to the community.

2018

In a visit in October 2018, state investigators found the program to be noncompliant and in January froze admissions at programs in Falmouth and Hyannis.
