**What you'll be doing as a Journeyman Carpenter:**
+ Use various tools to cut and craft wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
+ Employ hand tools such as squares, levels, and chisels, and power tools like sanders, circular saws, nail guns, and welding machines
+ Fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples, and adhesives, and perform a final check to ensure accuracy
+ Use a tape measure on nearly every project to reduce waste and ensure that cut pieces are the correct size

**Job Requirements:**
+ 2-5 years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry preferred
+ Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
+ Ability to read blueprints

* High School Graduate, technical or trade school certificate in related field desired.
Work Environment

Carpenter responsibilities are:
Install floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
Use blueprints, drawings, and sketches and follow the requirement
Review places and conduct repairs or maintenance
Install scaffolding and other construction structures
Calculate the size and amount of material needed after performing all necessary measurements
Cut, shape, smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
Create window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials on pre-constructed items
Carpenter requirements are:
4+ years of experience of working in a Carpenter position
Significant experience in working with carpentry materials and using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools(such as saws, nailers, lasers)
In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proper knowledge on basic math test
Good physical condition and endurance
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic hand tools
Drivers license
