Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Assisted Living/Memory Care Nurse to join our team! The Float Nurse is responsible for the provision of tenant services, including assistance with personal care, medications, social and recreational activities, meal services and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of tenants. Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-admission assessments to evaluate each resident's functional, cognitive, and health status prior to occupancy.
Develop, implement, and maintain individualized resident service plans that reflect current needs and preferences.
Observe and recommend reassessment for residents demonstrating a significant change in condition or functional ability.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
The AL/MC Float Nurse will be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), have at least one year of experience and be currently licensed without encumbrance. The AL/MC Float Nurse is responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEUs. Experience working in Assisted Living, or equivalent experience, is preferred.

Certified medical assistant/certified nurse assistant job in Des Moines, IA
A day in the life… Wondering what a day in the life of an RN/CMA/LPN at The Iowa Clinic Internal Medicine Downtown might look like? * Arrive at work in the morning - no night shifts here! * Schedule will vary based on the Physician you are assisting - Monday through Friday clinic hours (8:00am - 5:00pm).
* Provides professional nursing services for patients between 7 assigned Downtown Internal Medicine Physician(s), following established nursing practice standards and medical office hospital procedures
* Conducts comprehensive assessments of patient's care needs
* Obtaining prior authorizations, room patients, take vitals, and Phlebotomy as needed.
* Assists provider(s) with patient triage, identifies nursing diagnoses or problem lists, and formulates an initial plan of care based on assessment data
* Spend enough time with your patients to listen to them and get to know them
* Return patient calls and ensure all patients feel valued and cared for
* Leave in the evening - hooray for working standard clinic hours!

Required Licenses
* Iowa RN license, CMA (AAMA), or LPN License required.
