Maintains knowledge of Company asset protection techniques, and files claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not received), order errors or damaged goods involving Rx drugs. May assist pharmacist in administering clinical services including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other clinical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of clinical services, Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers. Assists Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in developing and maintaining good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other health care providers, by medical provider detailing and outreach to health groups, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for enhancing growth opportunities.     GRX Holdings, LLC is a fast growing, family-oriented group of independent pharmacies looking for a Full Time, up to 40 hours per week, Pharmacy Technician to work at our Medicap Pharmacy in Grimes. We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician that will process and fill prescriptions. You will assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision and in accordance with state and federal regulations, with technical functions in the pharmacy. Such functions may include measuring, counting, labeling, record keeping, and communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals. Ensures customer satisfaction by handling each customer in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner. We are looking for high energy technicians who are motivated, able to multitask and have excellent customer service skills. Highly competitive pay rate commensurate with experience. No nights, Sundays, or holidays, and some flexibility in scheduling. Benefits and 401k with a company match, employee discount, and other benefits available. Fulltime positions are offered Medical/Dental/Vision benefits. Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred but not required, we will train you!
