Assists pharmacists with study Site Initiation Visits (SIV), Interim Monitor Visits and study audits. Assembles materials needed by pharmacist for visits and audits, including reviewed order sets, copies of sponsor materials, copies of Log Sheets, Compounding Sheets, temperature logs and any other required documents or records. Assists the Pharmacy Purchasing Specialist with commercial drug and supply purchases and assists with inventory control and management. Assists with daily study drug operations including drug ordering (initial orders and reorders), inventory management (includes assisting with reports), receive, unpack and confirm daily study drug shipments, including confirmation using IVRS systems; assists with study drug destructions, returns and quarantine of drug and all related reports or documentation (include patient returns of oral study drugs). Assists with training of staff (technicians and student interns) on proper technique and procedures for drug preparation and drug dispensing and software use.
