Administer quality Before & After School Program while adhering to District policy, program procedures, and Iowa Department of Human Services minimum standards.
Firm understanding of District and program policy and procedures, and Iowa Department of Health & Human Services minimum standards, to maintain student safety and security, and to respond appropriately to parent inquiries/concerns.
Communicate program expectations and procedures clearly, effectively, and in a positive manner to students.
Compile and maintain accurate student attendance, database, and communication logs.
Successfully implement positive student behavior management techniques.
Successfully implement high-quality, hands-on, engaging, and age-appropriate academic-enrichment and recreational curriculum/programs.
Actively participate and engage in activities with students; not just supervise or observe.
