About the Role
As an Early Preschool Teacher you are responsible for a classroom of children 2 - 3 years of age. You will provide a nurturing and safe environment working collaboratively with your partner Teacher to ensure the successful operation of a classroom. You will demonstrate good judgement in the care of each child assigned to you. You will verbally engage the children throughout the day in addition to incorporating activities.

Are you passionate about sparking curiosity and creativity in children? RAFT is looking for an energetic Camp Lead Teacher to facilitate and deliver our dynamic STEAM curriculum and create meaningful learning experiences for K5 campers. Working closely with staff counselors, youll help bring lessons to life while maintaining an engaging, well-managed classroom environment. What Youll Do
Bring RAFTs hands-on lessons to life, adapting activities as needed to ensure every camper is inspired and engaged.
Manage a group of up to 24 campers, fostering collaboration, fun, and respect while maintaining an organized and clean space.
Participate in at least 9 hours of onboarding, professional development, and staff meetings prior to camp.
Operate with minimal supervision from the Site Director, showing initiative and flexibility throughout the day.
Supervise any assigned support staff, and share feedback during after-camp debrief sessions and surveys.

Availability to commit to at least one week (five days).

About the role!
Under the direction of the Head of Schools, the Teacher- Elementary School carries out the primary responsibility for planning and delivering instruction based on Common Core Standards and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
