Participate in editorial discussions and contribute to the development of team standards and best practices. Take initiative in identifying mapping discrepancies and proactively engage in discussions to resolve them. Contribute to team systems that support quality and data-driven decision-making. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Experience with US-based ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT4, and HCPCS code sets required. Associate or bachelor's degree in health information management systems or equivalent experience preferred. A minimum of three years' experience with medical records coding, electronic health records and medical terminology preferred. One of the following credentials required: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC. Demonstrated ability to apply conceptual and critical thinking to solve complex mapping challenges, identify root issues, and communicate solutions clearly. Effective communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly, listen actively, and collaborate constructively across teams. Technical expertise in applying and expanding knowledge of code sets (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT4, HCPCS) and emerging technologies to support quality and compliance.
