Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. * Utilizes ladders, dusts and washes furniture, walls, blinds and select equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts light fixtures and ceiling vents. * Removes stains from surfaces such as carpet, drapes/shades, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. * Prepares cleaning solutions per specifications. * Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors. * Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment * Gathers trash and empties in appropriate trash and recycling bins. * Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. * Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures. * Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms. * Cleans interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. * Keeps janitor's closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order. * Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and possibly checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. * Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to other facilities to clean, including vans, industrial trucks, golf carts, or industrial vacuum cleaners. * Provides special cleaning and support during client events, as needed. * Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements * 1 year of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning with experience stripping, waxing, extraction, and operation specialty cleaning equipment. * Must be able to obtain and maintain facility/security credentials/authorization.
