You'll then work alongside an experienced technician for several weeks, learning the ropes and gaining hands-on experience. Once you're ready, you'll be assigned a fully equipped company vehicle and begin managing your own schedule of service calls. Your day typically begins between 7:00 and 8:00 AM, depending on your first appointment. You'll clock in using our payroll app and access your daily schedule through our service platform. On average, you'll perform 4 to 6 dryer vent cleanings per day. This is an active role that includes setting up ladders, navigating pitched roofs, working in attics and crawlspaces and working in tight spaces behind dryers. It's like a light, full-body workout every day. Success in this role means being thorough, safety-conscious, and customer-focused. You'll interact with a variety of homeowners, always treating their homes with care and respect. You'll also be expected to maintain a steady, efficient pace to complete your assigned jobs within the workday, meeting both quality standards and daily quotas. Success also requires that you be tough-able to handle physical demands and the occasional challenging environment-and extremely reliable, consistently showing up on time and ready to perform at a high level. Accurate documentation is essential-you'll take photos and write brief summaries to ensure every job is properly recorded. Working Conditions: Work is frequently performed in office or similar indoor environments, outdoor environments, warehouses or file/storage environments, shops/facilities environments. Work requires frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals or substances. Physical Demands: This position requires heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
