WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The Qualified (Certified) Medication Aide (QMA or CMA) assists with administering medications to residents as directed by the physician, nurse supervisor, and Director of Nursing (DON). Additionally, this role assists residents with activities of daily living.
Key Responsibilities
The Qualified (Certified) Medication Aide sets up, administers, and records certain prescribed medications for residents in the facility under the supervision of a licensed nurse and as allowed by State regulatory agencies.
Practice the five rights of medication administration within the scope of your role.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
Properly label, store, receive and destroy medication per company policy.
Perform medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
Qualifications
Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the state and maintain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in good standing with the state.

Works as support staff for divisions and services of the Danville Parks and Recreation Department:
· Oversee campers activities in the Summer Park Program
· Provide a safe, healthful and enjoyable environment for fun
· Supervise and maintain an adequate view of all participants

· Know enforce and adhere to the safety regulation and rules: maintain order at all times; be strict, but courteous

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in conducting assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify communication disorders in students.
* Implement therapeutic interventions and treatment plans under the supervision and guidance of the SLP.
* Provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions to clients, incorporating various techniques and exercises to improve speech and language.
* Document and maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, goals, and treatment sessions.
* Collaborate with the SLP to develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on student needs and progress monitoring.
* Monitor and track student progress through objective measures such as standardized testing, observations, and data collection.
* Support clients in the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and technologies, as needed.
* Assist in the preparation and implementation of therapy materials, equipment, and resources.
* Bill Medicaid as indicated by the services delivered to students.
* Stay up-to-date with current research, advancements, and best practices in speech and language pathology.
* Other duties as assigned.
