Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Supplier Quality & Quality Systems Engineer to manage supplier quality programs and drive compliance and performance across our site's quality system. This role supports supplier qualification and performance, leads internal and external audits, facilitates regulatory body inspections, and ensures alignment with product safety and registration requirements. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both supplier quality and quality systems within the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead supplier audits, assessments, and corrective action processes (SCARs)
Manage supplier performance metrics, scorecards, and improvement plans
Support product safety registration processes (e.g., CE, UL, FDA submissions), including coordination with Regulatory Affairs
Own and drive the site's CAPA, NCMR, and training processes
Support the development and validation of supplier-provided components and materials
Drive root cause investigations for supplier-related nonconformances (NCMRs, SCARs)
Collaborate with R
Lead and support internal audits; coordinate and prepare for external and regulatory body inspections (FDA, ISO, MDSAP)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial preferred)
5+ years of experience in supplier quality and/or quality systems within a regulated industry (medical devices preferred)
Strong understanding of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, MDSAP, EU MDR, and applicable global regulations
Experience supporting or leading regulatory inspections (FDA, Notified Bodies, etc.)
Auditor certification (e.g., CQA, lead auditor ISO 13485) required or ability to obtain within 6 months
Experience with product safety standards, registration, and compliance (CE marking, UL, etc.)
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

POSITION SUMMARY:
Expedites production to ensure a continuous flow of materials and parts that conforms to the manufacturing schedule. Schedules and coordinates the flow of work within or between departments and investigates and resolves material or part shortages and schedule delays.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Updates the manufacturing resource planning (MRP) or similar system by entering information that is timely and accurate.
* Troubleshoots and initiates action required to resolve discrepancies in paperwork or system information to maintain work in process (WIP) data accuracy.

* Coordinates material movements between internal work and storage areas and/or outside processing or suppliers to ensure materials are available when needed.
* Meets customer shipping dates by scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, split work orders and/or stock transfers. Identifies shortages, missing parts, discrepant parts, or additional requirements and reports status to the appropriate area.
* Assists management by ensuring follow up actions are taken to resolve problems concerning over‐shipments, shortages, engineering changes, work orders on hold and cancellation of orders. Monitors component shortage status.
* Coordinates information regarding status and priorities with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Shipping/Receiving, and Contract/Program Administration.
* Applies continuous improvement and key lean manufacturing/production techniques to planning and production activities. Recommends cost reduction opportunities and may be assigned to special projects.
* Maintains knowledge of planning methods and systems, manufacturing operations, and products by attending team meetings, in‐house training, and reviewing technical
manuals or trade publications.
* Supports the team by accomplishing related results as needed. Work assignments may include cross‐functional or project team responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Completion of related trade school program, AA, or equivalent external training. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through five or more years of directly related experience. APICS certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
General knowledge of aerospace industry products and machine shop operations with considerable knowledge of manufacturing routings, travelers and blueprints. POSITION SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sets up and runs multiple production machines. Performs machine operations (including reworking parts) such as cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, and reaming parts. Makes necessary machine adjustments and reports improper machine functioning or cutting action for correction.
2. Aligns and fastens work using standard fixtures and established methods.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Leads the Military Pricing team in quoting new and continuing business opportunities, including TINA proposals and supporting Government audits (DCMA, DCAA, Military direct) when required.
* Supports development and presentation of monthly metrics including material cost recovery, net material margin analysis, win/loss tracking, major contract (new or renewal) opportunities, sell price trends, speed to quote, etc.
* Works with divisional price teams to ensure the development of appropriate list prices and discounts based on analysis of market climate and competition, product life cycle, and division differentiated pricing strategy.
* Assists new product development team in defining customer economic value proposition. Effectively models value proposition segments to define pricing strategy on new product launches. Documents customer ROI and payback and assists in development of sales communication of new product price strategy.
* Maintains military product knowledge and regularly monitors industry pricing practices; particularly for major competitors and distributors. Understands current economic conditions and financial implications for division and/or group. Understands value position of products against competition, competing alternatives, and internal product offering.
* Supports strategic pricing program by conducting audits, leading and/or supporting pricing kaizen events and working with divisional/site strategic pricing teams to improve processes.
* Utilizes continuous improvement principles and techniques to provide the greatest value to customers, employees, and the company.
* Prepares presentations to management on matters concerning pricing strategy.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional and trade publications, establishing industry networks, and/or participating in professional associations.
* Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses. Analyzes proposed changes in methods to focus on and facilitate profitable growth opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Education and Experience: bachelor's degree (BA) in Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
* Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through four or more years of increasingly responsible strategic pricing experience.
* Cost estimating/pricing experience in a FAR/DFAR environment, preferably in the aerospace defense market.

Position Summary
The Hardware Engineer 2 will have a minimum of 3+ years of electronic circuits and systems design, integration and testing experience. Knowledge of RF systems or motor drives and controls is desirable. Experience with the use of test equipment, such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMMs, and signal generators. Knowledge of project engineering methods and troubleshooting techniques for electronic circuitry. Knowledge of test report and procedure generation. The Material/Ceramic Engineering Intern must be familiar with piezoelectric materials. Responsible for reviewing materials supplied by vendor, optimizing production processes, testing for material performance validation and collaborating with production on performance issues. Qualifications include being a current student in a local college or university (must be enrolled) toward bachelor's degree in ceramic engineering or material science with strong analytical and communication skills.
Strong computer and writing skills required. Prefer experience with SolidWorks CAD and knowledge of manufacturing. "Hands on" skills encouraged. Assist Engineering department with on-going programs by completing engineering related tasks. Tasks may include CAD work, design and analysis, as well as hardware integration and testing. Assist in revising and creating process plans, standard work and other process documentation items. Experience with test equipment is preferred, but not a requirement. Looking for a hands-on team player.
Qualifications:
* Education: Current student in a local college or university (must be enrolled) toward BS degree in mechanical, electrical or ceramic engineering or material science. Must have completed two years of courses; three years preferred. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred.
