Full-time instructional faculty position & program coordinator available in the Medical Imaging (Radiography) Program, providing areas of instruction at Clark State's Springfield campus. This faculty position is primarily responsible for the overall operation of the medical imaging program, ensuring compliance with JRCERT standards. The faculty position oversees ongoing program accreditation and assessment processes. This is accomplished by planning, implementing, and evaluating student learning experiences in collaboration with clinical instructors, program faculty, and industry partners. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree, at minimum, Master's preferred, in Radiologic Science, Education, or associated field, a minimum of three years of related full-time professional experience, and two years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
Teaching/Learning
Successful teaching in a learner-centered environment requires knowledge as well as the ability to design, implement, manage and assess courses taught in a variety of instructional modes. Each faculty member is required to:

Requirements:
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Possess technology certifications or industry credentials.
Experience: Prior experience in teaching or training, either in an academic setting or in a corporate training environment. Practical experience working in the IT industry, strong verbal and written communication skills, effective time management, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Empathy and the ability to adapt to induvial needs and the learning pace of students demonstrate professionalism, integrity and a commitment to ethical conduct.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in Operating Systems such as Windows, mac OS, knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, understanding the basics of computer networks, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls. Knowledge of Database management, knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cloud computing principles, and troubleshooting and problem solving. Proficiency in using educational technology tools such as learning management systems (LMS), online collaboration platforms, and multimedia presentation software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in IT instruction with classroom or virtual classroom environment.
Must be comfortable with speaking and communicating advice, ideas, feedback.
Ability to recognize weaknesses and develop plans to aid with instructional learning.
