Is excited to work in an outpatient setting, much like a doctor's office. Remains friendly, helpful, and courteous when interacting with clients, including those who are chemically dependent. Responsibilities: Greets and attends to clients in person and over the phone Answers all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner Manages the patient flow of a high volume of clients in a fast-paced environment May place outbound calls to schedule follow-up appointments, or to engage clients in treatment Creates new client profiles and enters demographic information in electronic health record Schedules appointments using electronic scheduling system Completes accurate documentation of client visits in their electronic health record Maintains a welcoming lobby and reception area by ensuring areas remain clean and organized. Coordinates intakes on a walk-in basis, including assisting clients with completion of required documentation and scheduling with an available provider and counselor to complete intake process Verifies insurance eligibility through various insurance portals, setting up billing episodes in electronic health record Establishes client payment plans and financial contracts, collects and posts payments Ensures confidentiality of all client and employee information Assists in the de-escalation of clients using a trauma-informed approach Triages client issues to secure most appropriate solution Introduces clients to the Recovery Connect engagement app and help them navigate it as needed Completes end of day tasks, including reconciling deposit and payment records Verifies cash in cash box at the beginning of shift and reconciles cash count at the end of the day Uses appropriate incident reporting procedures when documenting unsafe or problematic incidents involving clients, clients and/or staff Participates in in-service/education regarding Quality Improvement or required job-focused education Helps maintain inventory and assist in ordering clinic supplies Performs general office duties, such as document preparation, scanning, faxing Requirements High School Diploma/GED 1+ years of experience in customer service is required 1+ years of front desk experience, preferably at hospital front desk or multi-physician practice is required Hospital front desk or multi-physician front desk experience preferred For employees in the following states (TX/OH/MN/IN/WI): Motor Vehicle Valid state-issued driver's license and MVR clearance is required; a 39-month MVR is required for any applicant at the time of the interview Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively between all organizational levels and with outside providers Basic computer knowledge, including ability to navigate in electronic health records Culturally competent and sensitive to client and employee needs Demonstrated ability in medication administration accuracy and ability to maintain accurate client records Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail Problem solving, conflict resolution, time management, and strong customer service skills Strong team player comfortable working in a fast-paced setting Ability to maintain confidentiality to ensure compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Flexible with the ability to work in a continuously changing environment Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Employees will be required to travel to the bank for cash deposits and must pass an MVR check for employment in the following states: (TX/OH/MN/IN/WI) Tools and Equipment: Frequent use of a telephone, computer, printer, fax machine and copier Frequent use of the internet and various web browser software, and Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Frequent use of electronic health record Physical Working Conditions and Office Setting Description: Prolonged sitting, standing, frequent bending, stooping, or stretching associated with an office environment Frequent and prolonged typing and operation of computer, keyboard, and telephones Some lifting may be required: Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds #CLSTF About Community Medical Services Community Medical Services (CMS) is a CARF-accredited addiction treatment program providing services in the form of outpatient medication-assisted treatment and one-on-one and group counseling to those seeking help with their opioid use disorder. Responsibilities And Duties: 75% Conducts Mammograms; Escorts patient to the room, completes proper documentation, and explains procedure to patient prior to mammogram procedure. Takes images for interpretation. Verifies images are of good technical quality. 15% Assists radiologist with stereotactic biopsy and needle localizations to include: machine calibration, sterile field set-up, explaining procedure to patient, offering consolation and ensuring comfort to the patient during procedure. 10% Performs quality control and assurance practices. Schedules preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment and schedules necessary repairs. Assures all mammography manuals are kept up-to-date. Keeps accurate and current QC logs to document variances, investigates and corrects any abnormal QC occurrences. Summary: This position operates imaging devices, computers, ECG units, laboratory equipment, dose calibrator and radiation survey instruments. Responsibilities And Duties: 55% Performs scintigraphic scanning as prescribed by physician. 25% Performs image manipulation and quantitative studies. Archives patient studies on computer and quality control studies. 5% Receives, stores, and prepares radioactive and non-radioactive materials in preparation of patient doses. Assures availability of proper doses for patients. 5% Performs quality control and maintenance procedures for scanning; maintains quality control and wipe survey statistics. Assures all equipment is performing properly to obtain quality examinations. 5% Consults with physicians; shows images and/or computer patient studies to radiologist and/or cardiologist. Provides physicians with quality data for interpretation. 3% Administers diagnostic or therapeutic radiopharmaceutical/ pharmaceuticals limited to those within the scope of practice, through various routes to patient, under the direction of a physician. 2% Demonstrates sensitivity to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication. Provides appropriate patient education, patient assessment, patient monitoring and overall patient care. Assists physician with intricate imaging procedures as needed. Registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine Technology. ODH Radiologic License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. BLS Certification. Familiarity with all aspects of a fully-equipped Nuclear Medicine department. Extensive knowledge of handling, administering radioactive materials and knowledge of nuclear instrumentation and its use. Neuro Interventional Radiology: The NIR Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Neurologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique. Shifts for this position begin at 7a with a shift of (4)10hr or (5) 8hr work schedule. No weekend rotation, only call. Call is 1-2 nights/week & 2 out of 6 call weekends per 6-week schedule. Responsibilities And Duties: 75% In Role specific listed below per procedural area Cath Lab Specific: (Level 3 Lab- Ohio Admin Code) The Senior Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for coronary, peripheral, and structural heart procedures. The Senior Technologist must meet all requirements of the procedural job code: knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, sterile technique and knowledgeable of all inventory items and equipment in the department. Requirements: 1. The Senior Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be an active, effective preceptor for new associates and students. 2. Competent to scrub and circulate all coronary cases including complex PCI and brachytherapy; Ventricular assist devices (IABP, IMPELLA and ECMO); all peripheral vascular cases including venous procedures (IVC reconstruction) and all Structural Heart Procedures including aortic and mitral valves and ASD/PFO. Must rotate through all labs including the HVL at least twice a month. 3. Competent to float to Arrythmia Services and Hybrid Lab to assist with procedures. 4. Must be FT or PT rostered FTE 5. 1-3 years' experience in hospital CVL department Arrhythmia (EP) Specific: The Senior EP Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive, invasive, and structural heart procedures. The Senior Technologist must meet all requirements of the procedural job code: knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, arrhythmia monitoring, cardio structures, anatomy of the heart chambers, sterile technique, and be knowledgeable of all inventory items and equipment in the department. Requirements: 1. The Senior EP Lab Radiologic Technologist must be an active, effective preceptor for new associates and students. 2. Competent to scrub and circulate all complex ablations including afib and VT, laser lead extractions, and Structural Heart Procedures. 3. Competent to float to Hybrid Lab to assist with lead extraction procedures outside of our unit. 4. Must be FT or PT rostered FTE 5. 1-3 years' experience in hospital EP department Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific: The Senior VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures. The Senior Technologist must meet all requirements of the procedural job code: knowledge of the imaging equipment in use, vascular anatomy, sterile technique, and be knowledgeable of all inventory items and equipment in the department. Requirements: 1. Competent to scrub and circulate all special angiographic procedures including but not limited to: Y-90, (Trans jugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt) TIPSS, Chemoembolization, Uterine Artery embolization (UAE) and GI Bleeds 2. Must be FT or PT rostered FTE 3. 1-3 years in hospital IR department Neuro Interventional Specific: The Senior Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Senior Technologist must meet all requirements of the procedural job code: knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral angiogram coiling, avascular malformations, stroke interventions and sterile technique and be knowledgeable of all inventory items and equipment in the department. Requirements: 1. The Senior Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be an active, effective preceptor for new associates and students. 2. Competent to scrub and circulate all Neuro cases including mechanical stroke. 3. Reports absences or abnormalities to RN/physician. Explains procedures, gives instructions, and answers patients' questions. Participates in room turnover and transporting of patients. 10% Assists Radiation Safety officer in QA of labs and radiation protective apparel on regular basis.
