Overview
CompTech is seeking a qualified Computer Operator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The ideal candidate will assist in the technical operation and testing of fully integrated computer-based systems in a supervised environment. This position requires local travel using personal vehicle, company van, cart or other motorized vehicle.

Mission Command Training Program (MCTP - formerly the Battle Command Training Program), based at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, is the U.S. Army's only worldwide deployable Combat Training Center.
MCTP provides full spectrum operations training support for senior commanders and their staffs so they can be successful in any mission in any operational environment. Its Senior Mentors counsel and offer their experience to Army senior commanders, subordinate commanders and staff.
Additionally, MCTP's professional observer-trainers assist units with objective feedback and suggestions for improvement. MCTP remains a premier Combat Training Center to train brigades, divisions, corps, and Army Service Component Command (ASCC) level headquarters on their mission essential tasks needed to support Unified Land Operations and train joint functions within select headquarters to support their role as a joint task force.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
This serves as the generic description for the current PTOC staff for the following 6 types of roles currently needed for the MCTP program:
Exercise Analyst
Collects and manages data pertaining to military warfighting function (WfF) (movement and maneuver, intelligence, fires, sustainment, mission command, and protection) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military training exercises for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps. Works closely with military WfF Chief, Observer Controller/Trainers and other exercise analysts; collects computer generated data, as well as Observer Controller/ Trainer observations, analyzes data and prepares visual products for After Action Reviews in coordination with military WfF counterparts. Develops and produces graphic products for exercise unit After Action Reviews. Gains and maintains awareness and understanding of the NGTS Archiving and Enhanced Retrieval System (ARCHER); which includes the ARROW reports organizer, Ballista, a unit database management tool for the Crosshair Viewer and Crosshair, a unit database, map, graphics and reports plotting tool. Gains and maintains proficiency in Joint Warfighting Function courses for WfF position occupied. Gains and maintains awareness and understanding of current and emerging Joint doctrine for ASCC, JTF and JFLCC organizations.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum; Former Field Grade officer. Must have, or be able to obtain, a DoD SECRET Clearance. Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine. Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Exercise Support Staff - OPFOR Analyst
Collects and manages data pertaining to Opposing Force (OPFOR) military Warfighting function (WfF) (movement and maneuver, intelligence, fires, sustainment, mission command, and protection) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military training exercises for Army brigades, divisions, and corps. Works closely with WCOPFOR Commanders: collects computer generated data, analyzes data and prepares visual products for After Action Reviews in coordination with military WfF counterparts. Develops and produces graphic products for exercise unit After Action Reviews. Maintains proficiency in the various simulations and models and AAR systems supporting Army training exercises. Responsible for using military education and experience to develop data collection plans keyed to exercise objectives; assessing WCOPFOR performance and providing recommendations for improvements. Uses knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures to analyze WCOPFOR operations within a computer simulation. Prepares analytical reports outlining such computer simulation outputs; deviations and consequences.

Work Station Controller
Serves as a Warfighting Function (WfF) (movement and maneuver, intelligence, fires, sustainment, mission command, and protection) subject matter expert and supporting multifunctional areas on a team of contractors supporting the Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP). Trains military personnel on the Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) and WfF specific simulation processes and procedures. Enforces realism of exercise through role playing and conflict adjudication and resolution. Supervise the work cell mission of translating training audience operations and plans in to simulation inputs/taskings and scripting requirements. Train and support work cell augmentees in reporting, role playing elements subordinate to the training audience. Ensure that the work cells WfF units/assets are simulated IAW current doctrine and unit SOP. Supports the After Action Review (AAR) process by communicating significant events using the Workstation Reporting System (WRS). When required, assists in exercise design and scenario development. Maintains awareness and understanding of current and emerging Army & Joint doctrine for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps.
Basic Qualifications: Former field grade or senior non-commissioned officer. Must have, or be able to obtain, a DoD SECRET Clearance. Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine. Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate Level Education (MEL 4) or Sergeants Major Course graduate equivalent. Brigade or higher staff officer experience. Previous experience in computer assisted simulation training. Previous experience as an instructor at a military course of instruction. Prior experience as an Observer Coach/Trainer. Army training exercise design experience.
EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS:
Military experience and knowledge of US Army organizations, systems and operations desired.
Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Will be required to undergo and pass applicable background checks. Must be a United States Citizen to support this government contract, possess and maintain a current SECRET level security clearance.
Must be willing to travel in the United States and overseas to support simulation-based Army training exercises.

ProSidian Seeks a Drafter/CAD Operator I [SCA 30061 Full Time (Contract Contingent)] located at The Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC), located at Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) to support an engagement for a Fed. Gov Agencies that provide Aviation Administration and Logistics support to government agencies. The Fed. Gov Agency supports a broad range of systems, consisting of thousands of individual pieces of equipment in the Facilities, Surveillance, Navigational Aids, Automation and Communications, Weather Systems and other agencies. In support of National Airspace System systems and other equipment, The Aviation Transportation Agency also provides configuration management, hardware and software documentation, modification(s), field support, systems, and acquisition support. Because The Aviation Transportation Agency Groups/Product Divisions provide technical support and supply support to the National Airspace System (NAS) field facilities and other government agencies, the work to be performed is primarily in support of aircraft guidance systems, surveillance equipment, automation and communications systems and technical data.

The ideal candidate shall work to support requirements as a Drafter/CAD Operator I and provide complete drafting services and Drafting Support for Support for ProSidian Engineering Services and stakeholders and projects of The Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC). This shall include operation and maintenance of the drafting file system, reproduction of drawings, and preparation of engineering drawings, electronic artwork and electronic media, including disks, in accordance with FAA-STD-002G.
The ProSidian Team Member shall maintain approximately 650,000 FAA engineering drawings stored and filed on the FAALC Computer Aided Engineering Graphics Servers (CAEG Servers), in such a manner to allow for rapid and efficient access. He/She shall assist authorized users with appropriate and authorized access the CAEG Servers. Authorized users and access is authorized by Client Stakeholders. Data security must be provided as prescribed by the standard operating procedures. Specific tasks required to successfully fulfill this role include the following:
--- ANNUAL INVENTORY: Make inventories of all drawing files and provide Client Stakeholders with an annual inventory report. Establish and maintain computer indices of all FAALC engineering drawings.
--- RETRIEVE AND RE-FILE DRAWINGS/ARTWORK: Retrieve and then re-file engineering drawings/artwork as requested by the authorized user, as defined by Client Stakeholders. Work shall be done within 5 working days of the request.
--- REPRODUCE ENGINEERING DRAWINGS ON HARD COPIES: Reproduce copies of all engineering drawings on hard copies as requested by the authorized user within 10 working days. Priority requests shall, of course, be done sooner particularly if the copy request is small in nature.
--- PREPARE ENGINEERING DRAWINGS: Prepare to scale complete and detailed drawings, schematic diagrams, instruction drawings and detailed master patterns from written instructions, preliminary sketches, samples and prototypes within 20 working days of the request. These drawings shall be accomplished utilizing Government furnished AutoCAD or MicroStation CAEG application software. Drawings may be accomplished on original hard copies depending on the requirements of the request. The range of complexity of engineering drawings that The ProSidian Team shall prepare is illustrated by actual drawings in the FAALC technical library, which ProSidian may inspect. They range from very simple part fabrication drawings that would take less than one day to prepare, to extremely detailed schematics and assemblies in accordance with FAA-STD-002G.
--- REVISE ENGINEERING DRAWINGS: The Government will submit marked up drawings for revision by The ProSidian Drafting Support Team. The Government may issue a drawing modification list that will require drawings to be revised as per the modification. The ProSidian Drafter/CAD Operator shall retrieve the required drawings and prepare a reproducible drawing in accordance with FAA-STD-002G with the required revisions within 20 working days of the request. Client Stakeholders may establish other completion times based on the priority of the request. Revised drawings shall be accomplished utilizing Government furnished AutoCAD or MicroStation CAEG application software. Revised drawings may be accomplished on original hard copies depending on the requirements of the request.
--- MISCELLANEOUS DRAFTING SERVICES: The ProSidian Drafter/CAD Operator shall provide miscellaneous drafting services. Work may include but shall not be limited to the following: a) Support of the FAA CAEG drawing systems or any electronic drawing system used by the FAA. This could include the loading, storage, copying, transfer, and indexing of all FAA engineering drawings including those available only on hard copy. b) Support to Contractor technical library services such as the reconstruction of the library's technical instruction manuals when copies are requested. c) Support for Contractor engineering services. d) Follow-ups to ongoing or completed work. e) Tours of the drafting area. f) Prepare or revise part fabrication drawings for use either on the FAALC shops automatic fabrication machinery or for fabrication by hand. Assist the FAALC shops in their drafting efforts. g) Review drawing packages and indexes for completeness in accordance with FAA-STD- 002G. h) Automatic test equipment work including preparation of schematics using Government-supplied or designated software-drawing programs such as Schema.
Qualifications
Leadership, Communication, Government financial management, budgeting, financial modeling, reporting, presentations and at least (3) years performing Federal Government Management such as Cost Estimation, Acquisition, Acquisition Database services, Negotiations, Communication. Must be able to pass background check and maintain security clearances to maintain confidentiality. This Drafter Labor Category includes the following level and associated required years of experience: Drafter (Min Experience: 5 Yrs.)
a. Experience. Five years engineering drafting experience is required. At least one-year experience in using an automated drafting system utilizing CAD software is required. Experience with the AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation CAD software is highly desired.
b. Knowledge. Familiarity with FAA systems, equipment, procedures, and operations is highly desired. Knowledge of the AutoCAD or MicroStation computer drafting systems is highly desired. Knowledge of manual technical drafting techniques is required.
c. Education. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree in computer-aided drafting (CADICAM) is highly desired.
Some Task efforts may be very extensive and require the work be broken into Subtasks. However, the various task projects shall include but not be limited to the following:
a. Provide complete drafting services in support of the FAALC including operations and maintenance of the drafting file system, reproduction of drawings, and preparation of engineering drawings, electronic artwork and electronic media.
b. Provide complete FAALC Technical Library maintenance services.
c. Provide Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Specialist services to include but not limited to the training, monitoring, and providing technical guidance for all aspects of the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring and controlling of a project, and the closeout of assigned projects.
d. Provide quality improvement services, using Lean Six Sigma methodology and techniques to the FAALC, including facilitating, planning, coordinating, reviewing, evaluating and reporting all activities for the purpose of completing organizational continual improvement projects.
e. Provide logistics expertise to the FAALC including analysis and recommendations for planning, scheduling, monitoring, estimating and coordinating of assigned logistics tasks associated with FAALC service provider responsibilities in the logistics element areas of supply support, support equipment, maintenance support facilities and Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation.
f. Provide management and program analysis services to the FAALC including planning, scheduling, conducting, and reporting analyses of management, administrative and logistics programs and procedures to determine resource requirements and utilization, workflow processes, and the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of functional operations.
g. Provide project management services to assist in all aspects of the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring and controlling of the project, and the closeout of assigned projects. The ProSidian Team Member's shall support the ProSidian and Client Team by maintaining individual project files consisting of background information, design notes, and other material for assigned projects. Project numbers shall be assigned by the FAALC.

Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you.
Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

About The Navys Advanced Electronics / Computer Field (AECF) offers extensive training in electronics, computer systems, radar, communications, and weapons fire control systems, including the Navys advanced missile systems and Aegis radar. These technicians are essential to the ships Combat Systems department, ensuring readiness for combat operations across the fleet.
Responsibilities
As an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC), you may:
Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment.
Operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, mainframe computers, large screen displays, LANs, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems.
Support combat systems readiness aboard aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers, and other surface ships.
Work Environment
ETs and FCs serve on fleet units worldwide and at shore-based repair facilities. Expect assignments aboard ships, at remote stations, and in technical repair shops. Work is highly technical, requiring precision and teamwork.

FC Strand Great Lakes, IL (16 weeks)
ET Strand Great Lakes, IL (22 weeks) Training covers electronics theory, radar systems, communications suites, missile and gun system ballistics, troubleshooting, and fiber optics. After A School, technicians may attend advanced C Schools. College credits are often available for Navy training.

Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.
Qualifications
Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be comfortable with daily local travel
