Position Summary:
The essential duties of this position will be to ensure only good quality product is being produced and packaged. This position will assist with the loading and packaging of product onto pallets to be wrapped and placed into inventory. This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, and is available during multiple shifts. Strong opportunities for advancement for the qualified and responsible candidate.
This is a union position with contract wages and benefits. New hires must be a member of, or willing to join, the local Steelworker's union within 60 days of hire. Wages increase every 3 months for the first year of employment. Higher wage tiers are available for numerous positions throughout the plant depending on availability and willingness to learn new tasks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Follow all safety procedures and participate in the plant's safety committee.
Understand units of measure and be able to perform general mathematical equations.
Must be detail, safety and quality orientated.
This position requires a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching while standing.
Must be able to work quickly, while standing, in an extremely fast faced environment.
Physical capacity to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to work independently.
Willing and able to work overtime and handle varying work hours.
Prior experience working with manufacturing machines, being mechanically inclined, or previous mechanical experience (i.e. capable of recognizing machine issues and irregularities) is a huge plus.

The Substance Abuse Recovery Unit (SARU) is responsible for the implementation of evidence-based practices and operational support to facilitate individual participation in promising practices/programs designed to decrease recidivism, which increases staff, incarcerated individual, and public safety.
The Department of Corrections, in collaboration with its criminal justice partners, will contribute to staff and community safety and hold incarcerated individuals accountable by conducting appropriate substance use disorder assessments and treatment to assess the risk and needs of the population and by providing services to address the risks and needs across the continuum in the least restrictive setting needed to ensure protection of staff, incarcerated individuals and public.
This position will work in the capacity as a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional or Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee, providing all clinical elements in DOC Substance Use Disorder Treatment services in accordance with the ASAM Criteria Manual, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition (DSM-5), and the Washington State Administrative Code (WAC's). Substance Use Disorder assessments and treatment are based on nationally recognized assessment and treatment criteria. This position requires, by state law (WAC ************ (1)(b)), specialized training, DOH certification, and client case management to include maintaining treatment records law WAC's and Federal Confidentiality laws 42 CFR Part 2. Assessment and treatment outcomes may be utilized by executive level representatives from all divisions within the Department of Corrections.

* Submit callouts when needed. Research, analysis, and reference collateral sources of information. Identify and brainstorm solutions to problems that may arise in getting an assessment completed. Reference and apply Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and the ASAM criteria. Save, scan, and email complete documents to Central Records and enter Chronos when appropriate for file tracking. Maintain compliance with 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 2.
* Ensure an assessment is completed for individuals who receive a positive body scan for substance related contraband.
* Coordinate release services in the community.
* Communicate and collaborate with DOC stakeholders (Mental Health, Classification, SOTAP, Education and others).
* Serve as a subject matter expert for substance use disorders (SUDs) and treatment for SUDs.
Provide evidence-based substance use disorder treatment services
* Provide SUD treatment service delivery.
* Utilize the treatment triage and SharePoint, according to SARU and DOC policy, to admit incarcerated individuals into treatment.
* Work with facility Mental Health Care providers to provide Substance Use Disorder Services to individuals engaging in Residential mental health services.
* Facilitate education and process groups, maintain a caseload, provide individual counseling sessions, create individual services plans, document individual service plan reviews, conduct clinical staffing, perform case management tasks, complete discharge summaries, complete progress notes, and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings. Learn and role model the tenets of a residential treatment program and Therapeutic Community. Accurately, reliably, and consistently complete SUD assessments and provide evidence-based treatment services. Report and document outcomes.
* Communicate and collaborate with DOC stakeholders.
* Ensure chronological notes are entered and all work is conducted according to established CFR 42 Part 2 and Policy 580.000 criteria.
Conduct and deliver clinical services.
* Assist substance use disorder treatment staff and SARU in all areas of provided services that are conducted under SARU.

Required qualifications:

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or a foreign equivalent.
Professional experience using OMNI, SharePoint, OnBase, and other DOC tracking systems.
Experience with Corrections environment.
