Creates, publishes, and enforces departmental coding, HMI, and electrical standards; spearheads process improvements that raise efficiency and repeatability. Coaches Senior and mid‑level engineers, delivers technical training sessions, and guides interns and co‑ops on best practices. Presents simulations and designs, manages technical scope changes, and specifies key components with suppliers, maintaining professional, solution‑focused relationships. Key Responsibilities Provide engineering support for electrical distribution, industrial controls, automation systems, and PLC-based processes. Troubleshoot and modify PLC logic, controls, and automation systems to support production reliability. Develop, modify, and maintain HMI systems including Wonderware, Aveva, and Ignition platforms. Support installation, coordination, and maintenance of electrical and control system projects. Lead technical portions of project design, costing, quoting, and implementation for electrical and automation upgrades. Provide engineering support for internally and externally developed control system projects. Coordinate with contractors, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure safe and effective execution of electrical work. Support continuous improvement initiatives, TPM practices, and process optimization efforts. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and operational procedures.
