Qualifications Qualifications * A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical or Power Systems preferred) from an accredited school or University and 0-2 years related experience with testing and commissioning services (Electric Utility experience is preferred but will train T-C Engineers with experience in commissioning complex commercial - industrial equipment including protective relays or other Power Systems Field Engineers with relay knowledge.) Project located in Mid-Atlantic. * Demonstrated ability to both read and understand construction and manufacturer-s drawings and specifications as well as schematic diagrams * Strong knowledge of (or the ability to learn) electrical protection systems, including relay communication; Basic understanding of (or the ability to learn) AC and DC schematics, wiring and drawings, one line and three line interconnection diagrams * Prior professional experience in (or the ability to learn quickly) medium and high voltage substation and power plant equipment. Perform basic apparatus testing and interpret test results with supervision. * Solid testing and commissioning knowledge of (or the ability to learn quickly) substation utility protection and control circuits. Perform commissioning activities and interpret results with supervision.
