Job Description Reporting to the Director of Development, the Institutional Giving Officer is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting institutional funders including foundations, corporations, and other grant-making organizations. As a seasoned fundraiser and a self-starter, the Institutional Giving Officer will focus on building and maintaining relationships with institutional partners to secure funding for United Women in Faith's programs and strategic initiatives. Duties include, but are not limited to, researching funding opportunities, writing grant proposals and letters of inquiry, managing grant reporting requirements, conducting site visits and presentations, and stewarding institutional partnerships. Some travel to meet with institutional funders is expected as part of this role (~20%). This position will be responsible for meeting an annual revenue target by managing a portfolio of foundation and corporate funders, identifying new institutional prospects, and ensuring strong retention of existing institutional supporters. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ā— Manages a portfolio of foundation and corporate funders, including private foundations, family foundations, corporate foundations, and corporate giving programs. ā— Researches and identifies prospective institutional funders using foundation databases and wealth screening tools (Foundation Directory Online, Candid, Raisers Edge's Research Point). ā— Creates individual funding goals for each institution in their portfolio based on the funder's giving history, priorities, and capacity. ā— Develops comprehensive cultivation and solicitation strategies for each institutional funder, including timelines and specific engagement activities. ā— Writes compelling letters of inquiry, grant proposals, and funding requests that align with institutional priorities and demonstrate impact. ā— Collaborates with program staff to develop fundable projects and gather data/stories that demonstrate outcomes and align with funder interests. ā— Prepares and submits required grant reports, financial documentation, and impact statements to ensure compliance with funder requirements. ā— Works with the Major Gifts Officer to identify opportunities for blended giving from individual donors connected to family foundations. ā— Works with the Director of Development to create reports that accurately reflect portfolio activity, grant performance, and revenue projections. ā— Performs analysis and revenue benchmarking to evaluate overall growth and performance in institutional giving. ā— Researches corporate partners and foundations, specifically those that have demonstrated commitment to supporting women's advocacy and faith-based organizations through transformational gifts. ā— Actively manages relationships with foundation officers and corporate giving managers through meetings, phone calls, site visits, presentations, timely grant reports, and acknowledgements. ā— Logs all contact, proposals submitted, grants awarded, and activity reports in the donor database, Blackbaud Raisers Edge NXT. ā— Passionately represents United Women in Faith's mission, programs, and impact with institutional stakeholders and actively networks within the philanthropic community to activate support for our mission. Institutional Giving Officer Team Responsibilities: ā— Demonstrates a commitment to United Women in Faith's mission to serve women, children, and youth, by putting love in action ā— Displays a desire to work in support of the values of United Women in Faith as a faith-based organization, using a compassionate, collaborative, mature and respectful approach. ā— Supports a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and communicating fundraising and donor engagement best practices and process improvements. Annual professional development and training in Grants/Institutional Funding will be required. Position Requirements & Qualifications: ā— Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Philanthropy, Marketing, Nonprofit Management or related field/area of study. ā— Advanced knowledge and experience with Raisers Edge NXT 7 a plus. ā— At least five to seven years of experience in grant writing, institutional fundraising, or nonprofit development. ā— Demonstrated experience in researching, cultivating, and securing grants from foundations and corporations, with proven success in securing five and six-figure grants. ā— Self-starter, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. ā— Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom. ā— Excellent communications, interpersonal and customer service skills; comfortable with public speaking. ā— Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ā— Must be able to clearly articulate United Women in Faith's mission. ā— Ability to relate effectively and professionally with foundation officers, corporate partners, member leaders, volunteers, and program staff. ā— Experience working with faith-based organizations and understanding of religious institutional funders specifically the United Methodist Church is an added plus. Services include a full range of DHS 75 and DHS 83 license requirements and include a trauma informed approach, with gender specific services for men. This is a part-time role with hours on Monday-Friday from 1pm-5pm. Under direction of program and clinical supervisor, performs core functions of a Case Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Markets services and/or receives referrals of customers with a variety of needs which require the application of professional social work counseling skills to solve. Deep River is currently seeking a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor to join the Neillsville team. Deep River is a comprehensive substance abuse disorder treatment facility in Neillsville, WI committed to helping residents move into sustainable recovery. Services include a full range of DHS 75 and DHS 83 license requirements and include a trauma informed approach, with gender specific services for men. Our beautiful facility provides an environment that, combined with the passion for the SUD field of our team members, allows residents to experience meaningful change and hope. Under direction of program and clinical supervisor, performs core functions of a licensed addictions counselor and/or AODA/Correctional Case Manager. This is a full-time benefit eligible role with hours on Monday-Friday from 12pm-8pm. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. • Provides addiction counseling with supervision and/or case management services to clients in an outpatient, residential or case management setting. • Completes assessments, diagnostics, screening and referral. Obtains required additional supervision if using UPC, ASAM, AODA assessments such as SUDDs or DSM/ICD 10 criteria. • Provides Employment Specialist services to clients as needed. • Prepares and completes all required documentation according to state, federal and agency standards in a timely manner. • Coordinates, plans and facilitates client sessions, including group and individual services. • Provides a high level of excellence in communication internally and to our external partners, both written and verbal. • May provide outreach and education to the public/market services. • Provides a high level of case management services and coordinates the various social, community and mental health services received by clients. • Attends and participates in staff development programs, including in-services training, staff meetings, clinical supervision meetings, and similar opportunities. • Provides all services in a timely manner according to program, licensing and contractual requirements. • Establishes and maintains effective public and working relationships and collateral contracts. • Serves as a positive role-model for clients and their families. • Performs other duties as required. Responsibilities The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and adequacy of resources. The RN possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as a part of the responsibility of their role. This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification. Qualifications Graduate of a nursing program. All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date. All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date prior to April 1, 2020 must provide documented evidence of program completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing program as stipulated by the degree requirement program in place at time of hire. Additional Qualifications One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Experience working in a team environment. Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting. Demonstrated leadership, effective communicator, and excellent critical thinking skills. License or Certification: Current RN license by applicable state requirements. Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Positions that are not on campus may not require current Basic Life Support (BLS) competency as determined by the work area. Position Summary The Interim Pastor/Director of Congregational Care will play a key pastoral role, relating to all ministries of congregational care. This individual will serve as a member of both the pastoral and staff teams at LUMC and will help guide our community in caring for one another through presence, support, and spiritual accompaniment. This interim role is expected to last approximately six months, with the end date to be mutually determined upon offer and acceptance. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement a congregational care plan for visiting LUMC members, especially those who are homebound, in nursing care, hospitals, or hospice. * Provide or coordinate pre- and post-surgery visits, and ensure coverage during vacation or absence. * Maintain and manage a pastoral care tracking system/database to record notes, visits, dates, and follow-ups, accessible to other pastoral staff. * Recruit, train, and support a lay care team in coordination with the pastoral team. * Evaluate current care ministries related to grief and loss across generations and recommend long-term plans. * Collaborate with ministry leaders to ensure intergenerational care and prevent siloed efforts. * Maintain up-to-date resource lists (mental health, spiritual support, etc.) for those in crisis. * Coordinate and track homebound communion and provide for retirement/care center residents. * Be present at weekly worship services and assist with leadership as requested (e.g., liturgist, communion server). * Serve as a liaison with Linworthys, the LUMC senior fellowship group. * Track and report attendance at functions and ensure church calendar is updated accordingly. * Assist families in planning and conducting funeral and memorial services, as requested by the Senior and Executive Pastors. * Engage in program ministry conversations to support integration of senior adults and care ministries within the broader life of the church. * Support the use of church databases and communication tools to enhance care coordination between pastoral staff and lay care teams. About the Family Centered Treatment Team The FCT team is a fully implemented and homebased evidenced based trauma treatment model used to stabilize or reunify families. Provides direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with FCT principles and practices for assigned cases and meets fidelity requirements for treatment intensity (5 hours per week per family). Caseloads vary from 3-5 families, depending on travel. Maintain clear, concise, and timely documentation records in an Electronic Health Record system to meet state, county and EBP standards. Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants to ensure buy-in and cooperation throughout FCT treatment Participate in weekly individual and team supervision and provide kind, direct, and honest feedback to team members, including participation in peer reviews. Participate in a rotating 24/7 caregiver coaching support system that has been established by the team (1-2 weekends in a quarter). Essential Skills and Qualifications Background Check Required Education: Master's degree in Social Work with Mental Health concentration, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related program is required. Experience: Practicum experience, through your degree program, related to services LSS provides is required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Eligibility for training or full license by meeting criteria set for by WI Department of Safety and Professional Services as an Advanced Practice Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Practical Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
