Maintain exterior of the facility including glass, trash removal, walkways, and entry plaza. Assist with special event needs, including set-ups, take-downs, and special event cleaning needs. Oversee student staff daily checklists and coordinate task completion. Provide special event services as needed to events in the Recreation Center to include concurrent cleaning, periodic trash removal as necessary, and extra attention during large events. Clean and maintain all interior furniture to include tables, chairs, couches, and lounges. Clean and maintain exercise and fitness equipment to a high health standard, to include exercise mats, cardio machines, weight equipment, etc. Clean and maintain locker rooms, restrooms, and shower rooms to meet health and safety standards, including effective disinfection of necessary spaces. High School diploma/GED equivalent required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Physical Demands Continual standing and walking during shift. Continual reaching/bending, including overhead with hands/fingers/arms during shift. Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift. Must be able to occasionally lift over 50 pounds. Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals.
