    The Production Operator is primarily responsible for manufacturing pen needles and/or syringes and for packing and labeling them into final containers, dependent upon the specific customer or market they will be sold into. The work will be done through a combination of semi -automated manufacturing equipment that will be operated and attended by the employee as well as manual hand assembly operations. RequirementsRequirements • While under direct supervision, manufacture product according to released work orders through a combination of written work instructions and on the job training. o Operate semi -automated pen needle and syringe assembly equipment o Operate semi -automated syringe poly -bagging machines o Operate semi -automated syringe boxing equipment o Operate semi -automatic pen needle packaging equipment o Manually load and package syringes into final containers • Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, assuring 100% acceptability according to written work instructions, inspection standards, and specifications. Upon discovery of an issue, immediately stop the line and report any suspected quality problems to supervisor. • Preserve 100% integrity of component parts and manufactured product by keeping different part numbers and the lots within them completely segregated from one another while also maintaining complete identification of all materials through proper labelling (receiving tickets) by part number, lot number, quantity and status. • Complete production reports on a daily basis to record product produced, hours worked, scrap, etc. • Ensure training is current, complete and documented before beginning any work orders. • Follow all safety and cleaning procedures and adhere to all clean room gowning and behavior policies. • Assist with material handling, palletizing and pallet transfer of product as needed. • All other duties as assigned by management for which the employee has been sufficiently trained. • Be a high school graduate, have GED, or previous experience, and ability to be trained • Be able to do simple math and read English sufficiently to follow written work instructions. • Be a positive team player and motivated to produce quality products within production timelines • Work 40hrs/week, with opportunity for OT when required • Adhere to attendance/punctuality policy Physical Requirements • The employee is regularly required to be independently mobile. The employee is also required to interact with a computer and communicate with peers and co -workers. • Be able to stand 8 -10 hours a day as well as lift, bend, twist and use arms, hands and legs to lift and stack various boxes and containers ranging from 1 -35 lbs depending on what position and machine.
