Summary/Objective: The Equipment Operator safely operates various pieces of heavy equipment in the mining and production process of aggregates. Essential Functions: Operate equipment (excavator, backhoe, dozer and other heavy equipment) to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or transport bulk materials to and from mine site, storage or processing areas, feed conveyors, hoppers or chutes, and load trucks or railcars. Maintain separate piles of different types of material by understanding the differences between the types of material and reading the site plan.
