Job Summary: The Technical Trainer assists with training processes locally. The role reports into the site
General Manager/ Plant Manager and dotted lines into Operations Learning & Development, to ensure
training is completed for Operator/ Craft Job Certification. The role will be a key contact/ trainer for team
members and be responsible for teammate assessments regarding machine skills - providing feedback,
machine certification responsibility, and conducting assessments related to line of progression
movements.
Major Job Responsibilities:
• Completes daily technical training on the floor to assist with the Certification of team members in their
roles.
• Partners with OPS L&D leader to support New Hire Orientation/ On Boarding Training, as needed.
• Assists with tracking, evaluating, and measuring training locally using the company's Dept. Training
Standards & Learning System tools.
• Supports site specific technical learning solution creation (SOP's, Guided Workflows, Technical
Learning Aids - to assist with training)
• Develops, builds, and maintains relationships with trainees & leaders in their role.
• Participates in new teammate hiring process - assesses candidates' skills (general and/ or machine,
involved in interview process to assess industrial experience, and provides perspective on hiring
decisions)
• Conducts training on all shifts.
• Influences others to be safety-minded.
• Team member will be certified through a Train the Trainer process, support managing day to day
Certification Processes & will be supported by Ops L&D with training tools & general knowledge content.
• Additional duties as assigned.

The person selected is required to attend FPI Certification training in March of 2026
QA Inspector- FPI
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the QA FPI Inspector is responsible for following all policies and procedures associated with the various parts and equipment that they may be required to run. In addition, inspectors must load/unload parts, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools, accept or reject parts, and communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.
Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary, such as borescopes, rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. (A MUST HAVE)
Perform and document the scheduled FPI test log and reports
Maintain, test, and replenish dipping solutions
Clean parts using chemical degreaser and parts wash machine
Prep parts using specialized material
Inspect parts using ultraviolet light
Report proper labor hours in the ERP system
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
+ 200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time to serve as pilot in command in part 121 operations (per FAR § 121.436(a)(3)). Candidates will need to provide proof they have obtained this flight time requirement. All prior qualifying time will be verified in pilot logbooks with the System Chief Pilot and/or the Director of Operations at time of interview.
* 200 hours as second in command at a part 121 carrier (per FAR § 121.436(a)(3)); or

* 200 hours as pilot in command at a part 135 carrier in passenger-carrying operations of a turbojet airplane with a passenger-seat configuration, excluding each crewmember seat, of 10 seats of more (per FAR § 135.243(a)(1)); or
* 200 hours as pilot in command at a part 135 carrier in passenger-carrying operations of a multiengine airplane in a commuter operation (per FAR § 135.243(a)(1)); or
* 200 hours as pilot in command at a part 135 carrier holding an airline transport pilot certificate and if required appropriate type rating for that airplane (per FAR § 135.243(a)(1)); or
* 200 hours of military flight time obtained as pilot in command of a multiengine turbine-powered, fixed-wing airplane or powered-lift aircraft in an operation requiring more than one pilot (per FAR § 121.436 (c)).
+ A minimum of 1,465 hours of total flight time or R-ATP qualified.
+ 500 hours of cross-country flight time or 200 if R-ATP or military qualified.
+ 100 hours of night flight time.
