Essential Functions: Concept Development: Generate innovative product concepts through sketching, 3D modeling, and rendering UI/UX Design and Integration: Collaborate with UX designers and software engineers to design intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for marine displays and controls Human-Centered Design: Apply ergonomic and usability principles to both physical and digital touchpoints Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key functional stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, viability while delivering end user desirability Prototyping: Develop physical and digital prototypes for user testing and stakeholder review Design Research: Conduct trend analysis, competitive benchmarking, and user research to inform design direction CMF Strategy: Define and apply color, material, and finish strategies that align with Mercury's premium brand identity Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design 5 years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in UI or digital interface design Strong portfolio demonstrating both physical product design and UI/UX work Proficiency in tools such as Alias, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma or Adobe XD Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing for digital displays, touch interfaces, or embedded systems Familiarity with marine, automotive, or outdoor recreation industries Passion for boating, marine technology, or outdoor adventure Strong storytelling and visual communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles The anticipated pay range for this position is $84,500 - $136,100 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus program. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
