Part-time Description Under the direct supervision of the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Aide assists with food preparation, meal service, and the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks in accordance with established portion control procedures. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils. Distribute menus and verify meal trays for accuracy, including menu selections and prescribed diet requirements. Ensure proper storage and handling of food and supplies in compliance with safety standards. Follow Universal Precautions and all sanitary, safety, and infection control policies and procedures. Requirements Experience in a healthcare food service setting preferred, long-term care experience a plus. Must be able to maintain consistent attendance and be willing to work long or irregular hours, often under pressure.
