POSITION SUMMARY:The Church & Community Partnership Specialist builds and strengthens relationships with churches, schools, employers, and community organizations to mobilize volunteers, donations, and resources that support refugees and vulnerable immigrants in the Greater Sacramento Region.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Community & Partner Engagement
Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with churches, schools, employers, civic groups, and community organizations that support refugee and immigrant integration.
Serve as a key liaison between World Relief Sacramento and external partners to identify collaboration opportunities in areas such as employment, housing, education, resource drives, and volunteer engagement.
Actively recruit new community partners who will contribute financial gifts and in-kind donations to support program needs.
Plan and implement community outreach activities to increase visibility, promote partnership opportunities, and connect clients to local resources.
Represent World Relief Sacramento at community events, fairs, and meetings, promoting collaboration and mutual support.
Resource & Donation Coordination
Develop strategies to increase both financial contributions and in-kind donations from churches, businesses, and community organizations.
Coordinate in-kind donations (furniture, gift cards, hygiene kits, household items, etc.) to meet program and client needs.
Plan and promote donation drives with local partners, businesses, and churches.
Track, acknowledge, and report on donations received in collaboration with the Development Team.
Support volunteer engagement related to donation and resource support efforts.
Client Resource & Referral Support
Work collaboratively with program teams to identify client needs and facilitate appropriate community referrals.
Maintain awareness of community services and resources available to clients, updating referral directories as needed.
Support clients' access to educational, employment, and community integration opportunities through coordinated partnerships.
Event Coordination & Outreach
Plan, promote, and support World Relief Sacramento events that advance awareness, engagement, and community collaboration.
Develop outreach materials and presentations that effectively communicate World Relief's mission and partnership opportunities.
Support event logistics, including venue coordination, promotion, and on-site engagement (occasional evenings and weekends required).
Administrative & Reporting
Maintain a database with accurate documentation of partner engagement, donations, outreach efforts, and outcomes in Dynamics and shared systems.
Monitor and report progress toward established metrics for partner recruitment, donations, and engagement activities.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall mission and goals of World Relief Sacramento.

Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
Periodic evening and weekend availability required.
Authorization to work legally in the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with local Sacramento-area service providers, community organizations, schools, and faith-based networks.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across cultural, organizational, and denominational lines.
Cultural humility and sensitivity working with immigrant and multi-ethnic communities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM tools (e.g., Dynamics).

OVERVIEW OF POSITION: Plans and conducts daily activities at theparticipant's home to facilitate individual learning experiences which assistin the development of the participants' living skills, to build independencyand integration with the community; consistent with the objectives identifiedin the Individual Service Plan (ISP)/Individual Program Plan (IPP), and withthe program design.

Provides 1:1 personal care for participants which may include: assistance with eating, personal hygiene, showering, restroom assistance, and preparing for bedtime.
Maintains all assigned documentation and data regarding participant including ISP's, quarterly and annual evaluations, and ID/case notes.
Assists in participant assessments, planning and evaluation processes. Attends ISP/IPP meetings. Assists participant in the development and implementation of his/her Service Plan.
Meets required training hour's timely, utilizing internal and external training resources.

EDUCATION:
Typically requires High School Diploma, GED, or national equivalent.|Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI), Professional Assault Response Training (PART) or Management of Assault Behavior (MAB) training. On-going certification required in CPI (note: required only of BMDT program).|Must possess and maintain valid CPR, CPI and First Aid Certifications.
EXPERIENCE:

SLS QUALIFICATIONS + PRE-REQUISITES:
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

The ARF Skills Coach, under the direct supervision of the ARF Administrator, works alongside a team of caregivers to ensure the wellbeing and safety of our adult clients with mental health diagnosis who reside in one of our residential treatment facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures the safety of assigned residents through direct supervision commensurate with agency supervision guidelines and policies.
Dispenses and documents the use of medications by residents in accordance with strict agency procedures; monitors each resident's progress on their medication program; and reports progress in medication compliance.
Implements treatment plans of residents via treatment interventions provided and approved by the ARF Clinical Administrator.
Ensures all client documentation including Incident Reports is completed in our electronic health record (EHR) system promptly and accurately.

Ensures that the physical needs of the residents are met by supervising all grooming and hygiene tasks, reporting all potential health and safety problems.

Actively participates in maintaining the cleanliness of the residence in accordance with established standards and procedures and promptly reports any repairs or physical issues with the residence.

CURRENT OPENING:
We are looking for support staff in multiple locations, including Yuba City and Grass Valley. All openings have the opportunity to pick up additional hours on call. There is also potential flexibility to be combine openings in various locations for additional hours. Further details to be discussed during interview process.
Position 1 - Yuba City: Saturdays 6 pm - 11 pm + Wednesday 3 pm - 11 pm, Thursdays 4:30 pm - 12 am and Fridays 3 pm - 11 pm.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Support staff, each shift offers new experiences and the reward of knowing youve made a difference. In this position, a few examples of the type of work you will be doing may include assisting the individual with: learning daily skills and activities, menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, budgeting, cleaning, using public transportation, making and attending appointments, volunteering, and participating in social leisure activities.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
Staff will be sensitive to the ethnic, lifestyle, and cultural diversity of our consumers and their circle of support. Staff will encourage, and help achieve consumer success.
Provide in-home and community based assistance to consumers according to individual service programs set up by Alta California Regional Center and New Start SLS.
Reporting of issues and concerns regarding consumers to New Start Case Manager.
Attending in-service training sessions when offered and complete required assigned continued education monthly.
Documenting of daily charting notes.
Required in Grass Valley: Some of the individuals we support use electric or manual wheelchairs, receive assistance with adaptive equipment for transfer, and may require personal care assistance (ex: toileting, bathing, brushing teeth, wound assistance).
Pay Rate (s):Yuba City pay rate$19.00-20.00 per hour for Awake/Day Shifts and $19.00 for Sleep/Overnight. Grass Valley pay rate $22 per hour.
SLS QUALIFICATIONS + PRE-REQUISITES:
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Staff must be able to work with and support individuals who have disabilities and have at least 1 year of paid or volunteer experience supporting individuals with disabilities. This may include caregiving, teaching, coaching, tutoring or personal lived experience.
Some individuals we serve may require staff transportation support. Support staff eligible to drive clients must be eligible and willing to use their personal vehicle during employment.
