The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating efficient logistics and communications between customers and drivers to fulfill transportation orders across Elevate's business units and customers. Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate scheduling of transportation between Elevate operations and specific vendors and customers, to include coordination with outside LTL as needed.
Provide freight quotations for Plants, Customer Service team and others using Kuebix and LTL Select.
Monitor Transportation scheduling issues and work with carriers to resolve.
Confer with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed or damaged goods.
Maintain a Transportation Claims file.
Assist in gathering and submitting lane data for North American shipments.
Perform additional job-related duties and complete special projects as assigned.
