Job Summary This position supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance. Pay Range:

Dispatcher Overview:
Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Dispatcher to ensure all flights are conducted safely, efficiently and in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CRF). The Dispatcher is responsible for partnering with the Pilots for the operational control of the flight.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct flight planning, dispatch releases, operational control, and flight monitoring for all flight operations within assigned route system
Review and update applicable crews of system-wide weather, maintenance data, and crew resource factors to develop an effective operation
Support the operation by providing crews flight planning, weather, fuel, and alternate airport information
Conduct pre-flight briefings with crews to include current weather, NOTAMS, and field conditions
Administer the routes and re-routes for aircraft and flight crew to maintain schedule integrity, and to accommodate for maintenance, crew time, and weather.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain control of the operation
Review and revise Jeppesen's and all other relevant department manuals
Communicate basic weather and forecast to appropriate stakeholders
Communicate and coordinate with Air Traffic Control
Ensure all flight related operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Federal Aviation Requirements (FAR) and company policies and procedures
Coordinate with the maintenance department regarding mechanical problems and MEL's

Required Qualifications:
Valid FAA Aircraft Dispatch Certificate
At least one-year Part 121 Domestic/Flag dispatch experience
Excellent computer skills
Exceptional ability to multi-task while working under pressure
Strong knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, Weather and technical dispatch skills
Must be flexible to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal history background check
Must be able to obtain an MSP SIDA with CBP

What You'll Be Doing:
* Answer and follow up incoming signals, alarms and requests
* Initiate outbound calls to customers, police agencies and emergency contacts
* Accurately document accounts to note any events that occurred or action taken
* Work additional hours when necessary - fill open shifts and cover during storms.
* When appropriate, inform customers of Per Mar Security Services of products and services and refer business to appropriate departments.
* As this position develops, the employee may be assigned additional duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management.
What You'll Need To Do This:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
* One to three years dispatching, call center, and/or multi-line phone experience highly preferred.
* Strong customer service focus/skills a must.
* Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
* Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. Internet skills required.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
* Possess the ability to multi-task and pay strong attention to detail.

We need experienced dispatchers to add to our team who understand DOT safety and driving rules, ensure our deliveries to our customers are maintained, and provide top quality support to our drivers.
Your primary duties include but are not limited to:
Scheduling and dispatching fuel transport vehicles to various retailers in a large, multi-state region.
Using computers and radios, ensure assignments are made timely to drivers.
Be the focal point in determining the best way for our trucks to deliver fuel to our customers.
