Prepare vehicle maintenance reports and ensure scheduled maintenance of all vehicles.
Develop relationships with 3rd party courier companies to ensure accountability related to best pricing strategies, courier budgets, and courier routes.
Responsible for team's vendor credentialing
Effectively use office technology (e.g. ERP systems, Access, Excel and Word.) and associated data analysis/diagnostic skills

The Systems Operation Dispatcher performs the following duties:
* Handles communications using a multiple line phone/radio system.
* Dispatches, routes, and monitors field personnel (gas and/or electric) designated for both planned and unplanned work.
* Utilizes multiple software programs used to create, track and analyze work orders, dispatch field resources, and submit locate requests.
* Works with a sense of urgency to immediately route field personnel to calls involving imminent danger or threats to public safety.
* Works collaboratively with peers and management personnel to prioritize work and resources based on emergency response, worker qualifications, availability, location and schedule of field operations personnel.
* Uses callout system to replace absenteeism, workload needs, or as directed by supervision.

There were just under 80,000 911 calls made to Brown County Dispatch Center during 2024. While not all constituted an actual emergency, each was answered by a trained Brown County Team Member. Brown County provides an extensive training program and all training certifications.

+ Oversees road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc.
