Delegated by the Senior Director of Operations, the Flight Dispatcher plays a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of the airline. In joint responsibility with the Pilot in Command, the Dispatcher is accountable for ensuring operational control, safety, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Flight Dispatcher has the authority to cancel, delay, or divert flights when operational safety cannot be assured. This role is also responsible for continuously monitoring flights from departure to arrival-including all scheduled stops and diversions-and for tracking mechanical delays and other conditions that could impact flight safety. The Dispatcher must maintain real-time situational awareness and make timely decisions to uphold the highest standards of safety and operational quality.
