THOR Solutions is actively seeking a Production Manager to support Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Navigation & Electrical (C4N&E) activities at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in Panama City, FL. An ideal candidate will have training and experience with electronics soldering and repair in a U.S. military or professional environment.
Typical Responsibilities:
Management of production/manufacturing services, encompassing mechanical and electrical fabrication, assembly, testing, and documentation, while adhering to specified industry and military standards and ensuring products are built to the Government's as-built baseline.
Oversee the product repair service support and ensure repairs are performed in accordance with the baseline configuration of the item under repair; and ensure documentation produced is complete, correct, and satisfy the requirements.
Management of supply FMTs and Field Service Support technicians for alterations and technical support necessary to resolve deficiencies in C4N systems on high speed connectors or other littoral connectors.
Management of installation technicians in support of Fleet Maintenance Teams (FMT) for C4N components and systems, to include the overseeing of preparing installation kits, fabrication of cable assemblies and assisting with preparation of technical documentation.
Oversee and manage support material handling functions in Government storage facilities utilizing CMPRO Work Orders, Return Material Authorization (RMA), Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP), and other workflows.
Management of the quality assurance and quality control support programs to ensure projects quality activities are planned and executed within standards and directions.
Oversee and manage the processes to ensure software requirements are verified and the System Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (SRVTM) demonstrates the appropriate traceability between software requirements, design implementation, and testing documentation through a standardized audit process.
Location: Full time onsite at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in Panama City, FL.
Typical Physical Activity: Desk work in an office or lab environment. Position includes supervising personnel who work in office, lab, and shipboard environments, and may be required to traverse those environments. May include: repetitive motion, traversing ladders and inclines/declines, climbing/crawling/navigating tight/confined shipboard spaces, working from kneeling/prone positions, frequent standing/kneeling, and working in hot workspaces due to sun, environment, and heat-radiating equipment.
Travel Requirements: This position is anticipated to require up to 20% travel, including overseas travel.
Existing SECRET Security Clearance Required: This position requires an existing active or interim Secret security clearance prior to hire.
