POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Electrical Engineer works closely with all aspects of the manufacturing process from the raw material to the finished product and support daily productions activities. This is a managerial position, which would include the daily supervision of plant electricians and electronic technicians as well as the management of plant construction, modifications, appropriations, and equipment installation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting directly to the Plant Engineer, the Electrical Engineer responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Applies electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery, electrical control equipment, and circuitry in industrial plant setting
Oversees assembly and testing of experimental motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles
Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective action
Develops diagrams, drawings and specifications for modifications or expansions and directs personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties
Plans, directs, and records periodic testing; recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment as needed
Directs, coordinates, develops, trains, coaches and assesses employees
Supports and encourages employees to work safely, efficiently, and effectively
Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience plus an Associate's degree
Five to seven years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
At least three years of proven supervisory experience
Working knowledge of motor controls, VFD's, DC drives, Eddy Current Systems and/or Modicon system design

Process Control / Technical Service Engineers can work on a wide array of projects in support of the process control systems installed throughout the refinery and products movements areas. The process control systems in the refinery provide real-time control and data acquisition functions in support of operating the refinery process and electrical equipment. Typical college co-op assignments include the following: troubleshooting system power supply problems, control system programming, hardware and software lifecycle replacement projects, installing and troubleshooting communication networks and monitoring control system performance metrics.

If so, we are looking for driven, goal-oriented people like you to join our team as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Summer Intern. Here's what you will need to do:
Work alongside design engineers to analyze systems using software packages such as SKM, EasyPower, or ETAP for arc flash analysis, or programming software for DCS, PLC, and HMI
Assist in the development of construction drawing sets utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks as part of our team on a wide range of industrial projects from brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities to small system upgrades and everything in between
Desire to learn and implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) protocols that keep us on the leading edge of technology
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to generate seamlessly coordinated projects that make our clients' projects a huge success
Develop an understanding of building codes, NEC, and OSHA requirements for building design, power distribution, or process controls supporting large heavy industrial and pulp and paper industries
The paid summer internship role is an in-person position at our Kaukauna, Wisconsin office.
