Position Description: The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the ongoing growth of the E3M Solutions Engineering team, contributing to both internal turn-key projects and external engineering efforts, including design/build, design/assist, and bid/spec projects. Technical Responsibilities: Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics for electrical systems including, but not limited to, the following: Electrical Distribution Systems Grounding and Bonding Systems Lighting & Lighting Controls DDC Controls Systems & VFD/VSD's Generator & Emergency Power Systems Alternative Energy Systems Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications Occasionally visits job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Assist in maintaining standards & tools for engineering Participate in conceptual development meetings with E3M team, clients or contractors Work in R&D efforts on new technologies and opportunities Perform other tasks and items necessary in a small business Position Requirements: Professional Engineering License (PE) or Engineering in Training (EIT Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering 5+ years of relevant experience Strong knowledge of electrical and energy codes and standards. AutoCAD & Revit Proficiency Proficiency in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, etc) & Bluebeam Revu EasyPower & Visual Lighting Modeling Experience Certified Energy Manager (CEM) - Preferred
