The Role
We are currently looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Site Engineering team. This time focuses on capital projects affecting facilities, construction, utilities, and other total site initiatives. The current priority is delivering 2 new warehouses with supply chain 4.0 technologies to drive manufacturing and inventory excellence. The work schedule is on-site, Monday through Friday. Successful candidates will strategically manage and drive top notch execution of specific project activities within the warehouse construction scope. This will vary from a portfolio of smaller projects (typically 3-5) to full ownership of a larger-scale project. Project budgets range from $500K to $10 million and reflect a mix of self-owned and cross functional, collaborative initiatives. Ultimately, you will help increase the output of our plant! This is an exciting role that will provide a high level of engagement, visibility, and ownership, and will leverage your previous project management and technical experience to help deliver exceptional results for our site and our company.

In this role, you will:
+ Deliver projects as a mid-level individual contributor. There will be management of other opportunities down the line for this position, but not within initial role scope.

Starting Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00

Responsibilities
* Assist operations and compliance staff to ensure NERC, ISO-NE, FERC, utility and NPCC regulatory compliance.
* Provide operations staff with electrical safety training and act as subject matter expert for LOTO, arc flash analysis and identifying electrical safe work practices required for compliance with OSHA standards.
* Perform Arc Flash Studies
* Provide support to operational staff to improve reliability and performance. Support will involve troubleshooting of equipment and determination of failures.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. Must be a licensed professional engineer with over 15 years experience in the industry. Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in both substation engineering and design, along with the ability to oversee multiple projects, are required.

Position Overview
The Sr. Member of Technical Staff is responsible for electrical design of next generation high reliability undersea products for SubCom. The role completes circuit design which include analog and digital circuits including microcontrollers and FPGAs as well as electro-optic components like photo diodes and lasers. This role will work a team of electrical, mechanical, optical and reliability engineers to design high reliability fault tolerant circuit to operate in the undersea environment.
