Element has an opportunity for a Environmental Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Associate Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.
Salary: $25- $40/hr DOE
Responsibilities
Prepare material specimens for testing
Perform tests as directed by customer specifications
Operate under the supervision of a more senior test technician and/or a Department Manager
Gather and record test data
Construct and maintain various test fixtures and other laboratory equipment
Skills / Qualifications
Working knowledge of laboratory safety
HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed
0-2 years' experience in a testing related field
Basic understanding of testing concepts
Possess computer skills.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus
Physical Demands:
Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate).
Lifting requirements: lifting 50 lbs. on occasion
Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time

Job Summary
The electronictechnician fabricates, installs, maintains, troubleshoots, modifies, programs, routs, removes, controls, and repairs Operational Television - Digital (OTV-D) communication systems.
This is a represented staff position with the IBEW Union.
Duties/Responsibilities
Install, remove, maintain, and replace serial digital closed-circuit surveillance television and webcams systems in support of spacecraft, payload, and security operations.
Install and maintain camera control systems for trim controls (pan, tilt, zoom, etc.)
Install and maintain mid-split level television and broadband communication distribution system, including Channel 60 and Operational Television (OTV) Webpage.
Fabricate, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, repair, test, align, calibrate, and operate; fiber optics, closed-circuit TV, head end and distribution, high definition and serial digital TV, switching and distribution, pressurized pan and tilts, pressurized lighting and cameras, and video surveillance systems.
Coordinate with other crafts to ensure job completeness and to assist with troubleshooting.
Read and interpret work orders, drawings, schematics, and notes.
Provide, update, and maintain all required documentation, reports, and logs, etc., manually or in electronic databases.
Make recommendations to improve work quality, efficiencies, and productivity.
Adhere to OSHA, NASA, Company, and customer safety requirements.
May assist in training others.
Requirements
Required Minimum Education:
Associate of Science or Technical Trade School* in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience may be substituted for Education: 1.5 years of related experience is equivalent to 1 year of formal education.
Required Years of Experience
Six (6) years of related experience or successful completion of a State or Military approved bona fide work-related apprenticeship program recognized by the US Department of Labor.

This position is "journey-level," meaning workers can start and finish a wide range of cable and wire activities independently.
Employees working at this level typically require an understanding of electrical theory, exercising independent judgment in performing circuit diagnostics analysis.
Workers must be able to read and have a comprehensive understanding of electronic schematics.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a NASA background investigation.
Must be able to pass an initial and random drug testing.
Must have and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.

As an Equipment Technician, you must possess great customer service skills, a high level of professionalism, dependability and have a positive attitude even during the busiest of times. The Equipment Team takes the lead on executing all things related to equipment maintenance. We are looking for candidates who are proficient at multitasking and work well in a high energy atmosphere.

Expectations and Duties:
Reporting to Sr. Equipment Technician
Oversee 4-6 clubs.
Completes scheduled preventative maintenance per the schedule in OpenWrench on all equipment including massage chairs and hydro beds.
Completes timely repairs on all equipment.
Manages and closes tickets in OpenWrench.
Completes required manufacturer certifications when available (may require out of state travel)
Maintains inventory and extra parts to ensure quick resolution and repairs.
Completes required equipment checklist and inspection upon all visits to clubs.
Manages local equipment service vendors.
Manages and maintains company vehicle, maintaining a clean and organized inventory.
Completes Preventative maintenance on drink coolers.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
3 years basic mechanical work experience.
Must successfully pass background check.
CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Must maintain local, State or Federal personal vehicle insurance minimums, whichever is greater.
Must maintain a clean motor vehicle record throughout employment.
Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations.
This role requires use of your personal vehicle for business mileage. All persons who use their personal vehicle for business mileage must carry a valid driver's license and personal car insurance coverage in accordance with local and federal regulations. All expected and approved business miles are considered reimbursable and may be untaxed in accordance with IRS regulations.
Hourly Pay Range

Great opportunity to join and support the Land Electronics engineering team in Melbourne, FL as an Electrical Engineering Technician. This hands-on role places you at the center of development work-repairing and refining complex electronics, building prototypes and test fixtures, and providing practical feedback that directly shapes product design and performance. You'll work in a development lab and EMC environments alongside engineers to help bring robust, field-ready electronics from concept to reality.
**What You Will Do**
+ Perform soldering, rework, repair, and modification on high complexity PCBs in a development lab environment.
+ Fabricate cable assemblies from the small and delicate to the large and environmentally robust.
+ Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products or systems and makes modifications as needed.
+ Set up and perform a variety of testing on electronic assemblies in a development lab environment or EMC chamber as directed by the requesting engineer.
+ Fabricate a variety of testing mock-ups, boxes, and one-off electronic/mechanical assemblies for use in a development lab environment.
+ Assist in design, build and/or procurement of new or improved machines, tools, fixtures and material handling equipment and coordinating the implementation.
+ Provide and develop documentation to maintain equipment.
+ Provide hands-on feedback to engineers.
+ Support engineering with moderately complex engineering duties and/or hands-on tasks
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Enthusiasm for hands-on work and solving a variety of challenges.
+ Experience with electronic lab equipment such as soldering stations, hot air reflow, microscopes, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers.
+ Ability to solder and rework small PCB SMT components down to 0402. Comfortable working in a ESD safe methods.
+ Self-starter with ability to work independently for several days.

Job Description
Support resort operations by performing maintenance tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.

As a Engineering Tech I, you will,
Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.
Provide general support by performing basic tasks such as painting, caulking, and wall repairs.
Conduct basic plumbing diagnostics on toilets, bathtubs, jacuzzis, showers, faucets, and sinks, including unclogging.
Reset breakers and GFCIs, replace light bulbs, and measure available voltage using appropriate tools.
Install and/or replace TVs, troubleshoot issues, and program remote controls, TVs, and other electronic devices.
Diagnose appliances, replace minor components, and assist with complete replacements as needed.
Actively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site.
Operate resort operations devices and software effectively (HotSOS and other applicable systems).
Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions.
Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.
Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools needed for the job.
Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Follow safety guidelines and practices.
Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property.
Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution.
Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.
Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior.
Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
0 to 1 year of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment.
Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work with enthusiasm and focus.
Strong communication skills required to excel in interactions with guests and colleagues.
Ability to be versatile, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
