This position works under general supervision to assemble/test parts, components, or systems for wheel loaders and motor graders according to the specified work orders. This position is for the assembly line at the North Little Rock, AR site.

What you will have:
CI Technicians provide internal manufacturing capabilities for tooling and other production-related hardware. Technicians receive designs from the engineering department and are responsible for planning, fabricating, testing, and delivering products that conform to the designs received. Some of the responsibilities to operate as a Technician V include Operate and maintain welding equipment, machining equipment, CNC equipment and mechanical tools. Technicians read and interpret design prints and specifications, lift parts and materials up to 35lbs by hand, utilize cranes and lifting devices to transport heavier parts and materials. Technicians inspect and evaluate products with precision measurement tools and techniques, stand for extended periods of time and track and communicate project progress.
If hired, CI Technicians are required to complete all classes assigned by the section manager.
CI Technicians must interact with production and management employees in a professional and productive manner, working with multiple departments to provide solutions for continuous improvement opportunities. CI technicians will work together on larger projects and receive feedback on projects from shop floor personnel.
CI Technicians will be responsible for using computers and computer applications such as AutoCAD, Microsoft office, and Teams.
Basic Qualifications
* Must be Safety Driven
* At least five years of welding or manufacturing assembly experience
* Must possess basic skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and E-Mail Clients
* Must have proven time management skills
* Must be able to work with a team to accomplish tasks given
* Must be capable of independent decision-making and problem solving to complete job tasks
* Must be able to receive and present ideas from submitters in verbal and written communication (Customer facing)
Physical Job Requirements - Production:
* Requires working on concrete floors for full shift and walking to retrieve parts from up to 80 ft.
* Requires ability to work from stool (sitting), a creeper (laying back) or kneeling.
* Climbing up and down stairs, platforms, and ladders up to a height of 15 feet.
* May rotate and bend at the waist while reaching into storage bins and positioning body in front of the machine/part on an occasional basis.
* On an occasional basis, the employee may be required to push or pull 60lbs of force.
* Operate heavy equipment or assembly/fabrication machinery.
* Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning with a light to moderate grip. Occasionally, a forceful grip may be needed to assemble parts into the correct position.
* Occasional exposure to hand tools with vibration.

Meet the Team
Join the core Hypershield Data Plane team within Cisco's Security Business Group-an industry-first effort redefining how modern distributed security is built. We are engineering the data path for a highly available, AI-designed security fabric that protects applications across public clouds, private data centers, and physical environments.
This team is building segmented firewalling directly in the data plane-a first-of-its-kind innovation not available elsewhere in the industry. Engineers on this team get end-to-end ownership of packet processing systems, deep exposure to DPUs (AMD), NPUs, and P4, and the opportunity to shape foundational architecture in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Your Impact
In this role, you will design, build, and optimize the data plane for Cisco Hypershield using C++, P4, and hardware offload technologies such as DPUs and NPUs. You'll work hands-on with AMD DPU specifications, packet processing pipelines, and performance-critical components from day one.
Success in this role means operating in a fast-paced model-quickly absorbing the architecture, contributing to data-plane development immediately, and delivering reliable, high-performance code with minimal hand-holding.
You will:
* Design and implement data-plane features using P4, microcode, and C++ across DPU/NPU architectures.
* Bring up hardware platforms, integrate SDKs, and debug low-level packet-processing behavior.
* Work from AMD technical specifications to define and build performant pipelines.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams (control plane, management plane, platform) to deliver end-to-end datapath functionality.

Minimum Qualifications

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
* .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
* 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
* 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
* Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
