Performs routine maintenance and repair services in more than one craft such as electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, and millwrighting. This position is more common in smaller facilities where the incumbent has adequate experience to do most of the work specific to that setting, but is supported by specialists or outside contractors as needed. Has a sound understanding of the maintenance history of the building, equipment, and other facilities to be maintained.

The AV Safety Strategy and Assessment team is seeking a technical leader with extensive experience in the full end to end development lifecycle for autonomous vehicle behaviors driven by artificial intelligence & machine learning models. As the AV Behavior and AI Safety Principal Engineer, you will need to stay current on industry best practices and standards and guide the development of GM's AV Behavior Validation and AI safety strategy. Join the core Hypershield Data Plane team within Cisco's Security Business Group-an industry-first effort redefining how modern distributed security is built. This team is building segmented firewalling directly in the data plane-a first-of-its-kind innovation not available elsewhere in the industry. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Be able to read and use a variety of electrical meters and other instruments used in trouble shooting panels and electric motors.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Responsible for the safe efficient operation and maintenance of POA vehicles and tools.
Maintains and operates pump houses, lift stations, water and wastewater plants, altitude valves, chemical feed systems, SCADA, VFD's, 4-20 signals and alarming systems.
Work in varied weather conditions, from ladders and in confined spaces.
Reports problems to Supervisor in a timely manner.
Ability to communicate and work with the public and staff in a polite manner.
Assists staff and other departments as directed.
Basic ability to locate streets, addresses, and water and sewer lines on maps.
Responsible for responding to customer requests and complaints and completing work orders accurately and efficiently.
Responsible for operating in accordance with Local, State, Federal Regulations, and Public Utilities Policies and Procedures.
May be required to work periodically for other divisions as directed.
Follow all Property Owners' Association (POA) policies and safety rules.
Regular attendance is required and required to be on time to work.
Required to be available for standby duty and work after hours and weekends.

This is a 2026 summer internship in our Engineering department. The intern will create instructions of use for aircraft passenger systems / installations. The instructions are technical in nature but are to be used by non-technical consumers such as a VIP passenger or cabin crew. This candidate will create multi-media instructions for a new aircraft system. The candidate will apply their experience gained in creating content to organize existing content into re-usable modules.
Experience gained: technical writing with layout optimization and aesthetics, multi-media production, project management, data continuity, various authoring software tools.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
* Understand the technical design and human interface for various components of the aircraft cabin.
* Create technical use instructions in non-technical language so that a VIP or cabin crew member may be able to fully utilize aircraft passenger systems and installations.
* Create animations and/or videos to augment instructional text.

Full-time Description
This position requires the ability to assemble and calibrate Electrical and Mechanical parts to create precision systems by following written instructions, drawings and schematics. Working under a microscope and soldering is a must along with ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical assemblies.
Technicians will be required to use a wide range of equipment including; voltmeters, oscilloscopes, frequency counter, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vibration systems and various other equipment. Employee may be asked to perform other duties as required and the responsibilities of the position are subject to change.
