Role Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between the Project Manager and field staff, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout project execution. Coordinate division meetings and provide progress updates on active projects. Complete and assist with environmental reports such as Environmental Risk Assessments, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and other required documentation. Perform soil and groundwater sampling and assist with Phase II Site Investigations and Phase III Remediation Projects. Operate and maintain environmental equipment including PIDs and other sampling instruments. Supervise storage tank remediation projects and support field teams with remediation efforts. Review and interpret analytical laboratory reports, assist in waste profiling and characterization, and ensure proper disposal approvals. Develop and maintain project-specific documentation, including manifests, daily logs, permits, and Health & Safety Plans. The Abatement Technician is responsible for performing asbestos abatement and industrial maintenance projects in full compliance with company policies, established health and safety procedures, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Job Responsibilities Perform asbestos abatement fieldwork under direct or indirect supervision. Complete all required documentation accurately, including timesheets, daily reports, driver's logs, and safety meeting forms. Follow detailed project scopes to ensure compliance with contracts, schedules, and company policies. Maintain strict adherence to company, client, and regulatory safety standards during all work activities. What You Will Be Doing: Managing projects and teams, delegating to office and field staff, and executing day-to-day activities of projects including financial responsibilities. What You Will Be Bringing: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Soils, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or related discipline. 7+ years of experience in environmental consulting services, including proven experience performing and managing natural resource evaluations, local, state, and federal permitting, environmental monitoring, wetland delineations, biological assessments, and SWPPP inspections. Experience with the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act, surface water classifications, stream bed and bank protection and restoration, erosion control, and stormwater compliance. Strong ability to interpret and use site plans, topographic maps, aerial photographs, and other maps and mapping resources. Experience working on active construction sites with erosion and sedimentation control, and ability to document methods and results. Working knowledge of data collection methods ( e.g. , GPS) and familiarity with ArcGIS. The Environmental Field Laborer (Field Tech) must be able to work in compliance on various remediation and industrial maintenance projects. They must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate/office policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Execution of field work encompassed in remediation and industrial maintenance projects while under direct or indirect supervision. Correct completion of all job-specific, employee-related MER paper work including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver's Logs and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms. Understand and work within project's detailed scope-of-work to maintain strict compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and corporate policies and procedures. Work safely during all phases of performing the job duties required in the field. Ability to perform work inside areas of varying dimensions; involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods.
