For this Estimator position, a degree in Architectural Drafting, Estimating, Construction Management, and Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
Must have successful experience in estimating and selling shingles and siding projects.
Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
• Confirm the scope of work and bid proposals for completeness and accuracy
• Submit timely questions for clarification during the construction bid process
• Prepare shingle and siding project estimates by gathering proposals, onsite inspections, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
• Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
• Attend construction pre-bid, pre-con, and post-con meetings as needed
• Work with clients, vendors, and other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Contribute to team effort and work as part of the team to serve our customers

As a Commercial Playground & Recreation Sales Estimator, you can help lead the charge to restore active play areas throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. Responsibilities
* Estimate and submit proposals for products and project installation within assigned territory.
* Interpret blueprints, scope takeoffs, prepare estimates and proposals.
* Following each sale, continue to work with customers to provide all submittals and change orders for changes in scope.
* Work collaboratively with project managers, field superintendents, and installation crews to see projects through to completion.
* Be able to work thru submittals and architectural specifications.
* Provide accurate cost estimations within budget and schedule.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in construction and/or playground industry.
* Understands and can perform all aspects of the estimation and proposal process.
* Strong verbal, social and written communication skills.
* Ability to build rapport and develop positive working relationships with customers and team members.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
